Remarks :

plied in IIT-KGP for Architecture but I feel EE in IIEST is a better option so I chose this college. I didn't get any quota. If anyone wants to join this college they should have a good rank in JEE-main. The admission process is very easy here in the online mode. you have to provide your details via mail and just follow one process in G-meet and your admission completed

Course Curriculum Overview :

EE in IIEST has a very good placement and the environment is very good here. 8-10 faculty per 100 students. Faculties are very good and all of them completed higher education from different IITs. Midterm and end term exams are conducting timely while online or offline, question paper is a little bit hard compared to other college buy you can easily solve if you completed professors assignments.

Internships Opportunities :

There are lots of internships offered from the first year to the fourth year, companies like LG. google, Microsoft, provide internships. Project in Web development to robotics you can easily get an internship here if you are eligible.

Placement Experience :

Placement is average in CS/IT compared to other colleges but very good in core branches even EEs average placement is more than many of top IITs. Many companies visited per year like Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Google, Infosys, syska, TATA, etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

72k for general categories and there is lots of scholarship so your fee must be less than that if you were eligible even you have to pay zero fees for tuition here. There are many companies like Microsoft, google, amazon etc are visit campus and provides lots of jobs here.

Campus Life :

There is lots of fests conducted here by the different club of college like EES, REFELXOBETA, EUOHONY, etc. Every type of book is available in the online and offline libraries. A very good system in sports here.

Hostel Facilities :

Facing hostel problem here because college is very old so here in the first year, 4 students in each room are staying in a hostel. Mess food is average here. For registration of hostel and Mess you have to just fill a form provided by warden. IIEST is in midtown of HOWRAH is you can easily find any PG, room.

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.
