Remarks :

I appeared for JEE(Main) and cleared the cutoff as applicable by NTA. The eligibility of this course is you need to pass 12th Board with 75%and above and have to clear the JEE cutoff. The application form can be found on the Official JEE website. The procedure to fill out the form is pretty simple. You will get reservation benefits if applicable.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I was highly interested in this field and want to pursue higher studies. The ratio is about 1:10. There is a total of 2 term exams per semester. The term exams are pretty simple to pass. My experience was good enough in the term exams.

Class Size : 48Course Fees : INR 780000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The Internship opportunities are also good here. Students are eligible for campus Internships from their 3rd year. Placement and Internship training is also being provided here to boost their preparation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

You will get the scholarship benefits if you are applicable. Financial aids are also being provided if needed. For the reservation category, students' tuition fees are zero. They just need to pay for their hostel and mess charges.

Campus Life :

There are many feats in my college. The renowned one is called REBECCA. The campus life is awesome here. And the academic pressure is also a bit low here. You will get an ample amount of time to hang around with your friends here. The sports facilities are also pretty good here. Basically, you get to enjoy yourself a lot and will have a great time here.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is good here. The food quality is also good here. Other state students will not feel left out here. All kinds of meals are being provided here. The annual mess and hostel charges are 20000 INR.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

One of the good colleges.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
