Remarks :

Admission is based on your rank in the NCHMCT exam conduct every year. You need to fill the form and sit for the exam and you need to choose a college based on your rank. You can choose any central government IHM college including IHM Kolkata.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is not too difficult, but one needs to prepare for the exam thoroughly. A three-month preparation will be enough. There are maths, general intelligence, English subjects in the NCHMCT exam. I choose the course because it's a career-related course, a professional course. There are enough faculty in the college. They are well qualified and experienced. Exams were taken semesters basis.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Campus jobs can be taken in a five-star hotel or retail sector. One can get a position as a Management Trainee or Operational Trainee also. The study is costly. Hostel fees will be approx 30000 for 6 months and college fees will be approx 3 lakhs to 4 lakhs from a 3-year B.Sc course

Campus Life :

Several programs are conducted throughout the year which includes pujas, cooking competition, quiz competitions, carrier fest, etc. The library is full of all useful books. All necessary amenities are present for practical classes. The college has its own website www.ihmkol.org

IHM Kolkata an experience

Placement Experience:

The campus selection starts from 05th sem onwards. Lots of companies visit some are:- Taj, Oberios, Leela, HHI, ITC, Dominoes, Pizza Hut, CCD, Starbucks, Fairmont etc. I dont remeber the highest package amount but it was around 30k. 95% students got placement and for those who had difficulty getting placed the faculties would help them find internship or job through their reference. I completed my degree back in 2013 and got placement through the college and started working.
