I would rate the course curriculum 10/10 because the BSC course is a very good for having a job in early phase of life and become successful at the age of 28-29. In B.sc course theory part is less but the practical part is good

The faculty members are more or less experienced from good hotel properties and they teach with passion and clear doubt if necessary If you choose this course you will be placed in a 5-star hotel property and find a wonderful career ahead if you like hotels management and term exams are taken timely and you will get to read different core structure of the hotel.

I chose this course because of its practical nature, you can learn things hands-on, this college offers a Bsc course where you can learn about 4 departments, - that is Front Office, Food and Beverage Service, House Keeping and Food Production, The faculties here were highly educated and had industrial experience, there were 5-6 teachers for each subject, Many teachers were pursuing PhD, and many were MBA Graduate. Our Exams were taken twice in a Semester, and you will obviously pass if you study, or else it will be difficult.

I somewhere was interested in meeting new people and love to serve people so this was the reason why I chose this course. There will be around 380 students in a batch whereas there are a total of 60 teachers approx in the college. All teachers are well qualified and qualified for the entrance exam to be part of this college as a faculty.
I choose this course because this is the only entrance exam that I have cleared. Faculty: student ratio is well every subject has more than 3 or 4 teachers. All teachers have their master's degrees and their teaching style is very friendly. Each semester of 6 months after 3 months there is a midterm exam and after 6 months/ each semester there is end term exam. It is not difficult to pass because all the questions were asked from the syllabus.
It is not too difficult, but one needs to prepare for the exam thoroughly. A three-month preparation will be enough. There are maths, general intelligence, English subjects in the NCHMCT exam. I choose the course because it's a career-related course, a professional course. There are enough faculty in the college. They are well qualified and experienced. Exams were taken semesters basis.
We have four core subjects in the ug degree:- 1) Food Production 2. F&B Service 3. Accommodation Operations 4. Front Office and other side subjects:- computer, accountancy, nutrition, hotel engineering, food science, financial management, and strategic management. Faculty:student ratio is:- 1:20 (due to covid) usually, 1:60 There are well-qualified teachers and the teaching techniques are also commendable, teachers make sure that everything is cleared by the students and they had no doubt. There are 2 semesters per year and mid-term exams every semester.
I choose hotel management as my career as it has a great opportunity of working abroad and the hospitality industry had a great future ahead as this industry is growing day by day. I choose BSC in hotel management, it is a 3 yr program, the value of a degree is more in this industry than the diploma. Having a degree is more advantageous. In our batch, we have around 320 students. The faculty of IHM Kolkata is highly qualified and very much experienced in this industry, they guide us really well. The term exams are absolutely on time and the passing criteria are 50% per subject. It's easy to pass here as the question paper is really good and practical oriented.
Since childhood, I've dreamt of becoming a chef and to achieve my dreams, IHM KOLKATA is the best institute in Kolkata. After joining this premium institute, I did not regret it even once. This is one of the best hospitality schools in India. The faculties are highly qualified with massive industry experience, some even have PhD degrees. They're always happy to teach students and tell them insights into this industry. Most of the faculties reside inside the campus only so if you're stuck with something and need help, you'll always have your faculties. Also, they are extremely friendly. They even join us in the badminton or basketball court in the evening. The total strength of our batch is 380 which is further divided into 10 sections which are 38 students in each section. So almost every individual gets faculty attention. The examination happens twice a semester i.e. midterm and term end exams where the midterm is quite easy but to clear term end one must study deep enough to answer.
