Remarks
Since my college falls under IP university admission process was cumbersome but after completing all the formalities taking admission to the college was not at all a tiresome deed. I had applied to numerous colleges and got my name in quite a few But I choose Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology because of many reasons one of those is the easy accessibility to transportation there are two metro stations in 500 meters radius and is easily accessible by bus. Apart from this, I was interested in the placements and internship opportunities that MSIT offers, it is literally one of the top IP colleges and maintains a good placement portfolio, with a highly interactive staff it makes MSIT an ideal choice for an engineering student. A minimum of 85 percentile in JEE mains is required for getting a seat in the ECE branch(Electronics and Communication). On the first day, there will a seminar to welcome all the newcomers.
Course Curriculum Overview
Electronics and Communication is an ever booming branch plus with the sheer support of the faculty members, it makes it really easy to grasp a firm hold on topics and thus making; earning easy. Sometimes there are some issues with the faculty but there is nothing that can't be solved. Coming to the Term exams they are really tough but the performance of every student is tracked and special attention is given to low-performing students.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are made available once a student gets promoted to the 2nd year. Quite a number of opportunities are provided regularly for different streams and for different roles. But still, most of the students search for internships on their own.
Placement Experience
Now coming to the placements I have seen 80 percent of students bagging a decent placement of 8lpa or above with the highest package of 40lpa by adobe. The average placement package is 4lpa. With many students getting more than 1 offer I think it is safe to say it is quite decent.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are relatively high compared to the other IPU colleges but are certainly lower than the private colleges. I think fees should be lowered so more and more students could enroll. I don't think there is any sort of scholarship provided but one could sure check the official website.
Campus Life
With dedicated football, badminton and table tennis premises it is a heaven for the sports lover. And for book worms, a fully air-conditioned library is also provided for peaceful reading space overall campus life is not at par with the IITs or NITs but is good enough.
