Remarks :
About the college, the college is good except for the hostel fees and admission fee that which is very much considerably. Except that it is really a great college whit great and friendly faculty and senior with eco friendly surrounding in the university
Entrance Preview :
Didn't take any exams. The world we live in today is mainly based on computer and technology, that's why I choose BCA.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is great. Most of the time we the students and the faculty members mainly focus on the discussing about new technologies etc. Our school of computer science in our university also provide guest lectures who are very much qualified and bring hope to us for our future
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, the college does provide internship. BSNL, Airtel, Vodafone and some other comes. Don't know much about the stipend since I've never gone for it.
Placement Experience :
BSNL, Vodafone , airtel, came for placement and 3 or 4 students gets placement every year..But I don't have any idea how much they offer since m not eligible to take part in it yet. We can take part in placement after the completion of our course or in our last semester only.
College Events :
There are many events celebrated in our college.. The biggest one is the university week.. All the competitions like cultural show, sports, ramp, music etc mostly occur during the college/university week. Students from all the departments of our university takes part in these competition and cash prizes are kept for the winners along with certificate.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure for BCA is feasible but some other department are expensive. Its only 15000 rs. Per semester for BCA but for some other cources its more than 40000 Rs. Per semester. But admission fee is expensive for all the departments. Hostel fees per month is 6500 rs. Per month that which is very much, so most of the students prefer to stay outside the university hostel.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The university provides information about all the scholarship a student can avail that which is given by the university or the state or central governments. The university itself also provide several types of scholarship. One among them is that the university provide scholarship to one best student of the university from each state of north east that which is 500 rs per month. There are also scholarship provided by the university to the one best student of the university that which is 5000 rs per year.
Campus Life :
Life in university campus is great. Hang out whit friends in campus is also amazing. The campus itself is a great place with full of green. There is DJs party, rock concerts, and many more in the evening during the days of college week. There are also competitions in many fields like games and sports which includes both indoor and outdoor and also computer games, competitions in dance and also in many other extra curricular activities. The university also provides many workshops in IT level for our department. And also provides coaching for IAS, SSC, NET, UPSC exams for free. They take only 100 rs as admission fee.
Hostel Facilities :
There is university hostel for both boys and girls in the university campus. Hostel fee for 3 sitter is 6500 rs per student for both boys and girls hostel. Mess food is not that bad. Provides 4 days non veg during dinner in a week. Most of the students prefer to stay outside the hostel in rents and apartments. And that makes the student to save some money. A student staying outside spends only about 4000-5000 rs per month that which allows them to save some money to buy things or spend it elsewhwre
Alumni/Alumna :
Speaking of the seniors, they are very helpful. They help us even in our project times when we have any problems. The relation between we and our seniors are just like brothers and sisters. We all co operate each other.
Exam Structure :
The exams are neither very frequent nor very chilled out. There are four exams in a semester, three sessional exam and a semester exam. Sessional exam is of 30 marks. Out of the three sessional exam averag of two best scoring is calculated taking average and adds the marks to the final report. Semester exam is for 70 marks per subject. The final report is of 100 marks 70+30marks per subject
Faculty :
Faculty member are not bad except for one two.. Maximum of the teachers are very much qualified. They always try to make us understand what they are explaining by any means. Sometimes make jokes when the students gets bored, try to freshen us up. Its just amazing
