Remarks :

Great place but hope they improve the placement opportunities.

Entrance Preview :

I did not take any examination, i applied through my 12th percentage of 65%.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is great and our college offers many different courses.

Placement Experience :

I am in the final year now and as of now not many companies have visited the campus though its heard average package last year was around 3.5 lakhs.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee is quite reasonable with a combined total of 1,05,800 for the 3 years.

Campus Life :

Campus is vast and beautiful with lots of greenery excellent infrastructure with all the required amenities such as library, hostels, labs, conference halls etc there is also e-library hostels are well- furnished.

Exam Structure :

Attendance is a big issue it has compulsory attendance rule. You have to fulfill the requisite criteria of 75% or else you wont be allowed to sit of exams.

Faculty :

For IT and CS, faculty is quite good not only well-experienced but also very helpful and approachable we also have industrial visits to get practical exposure.

Admission:

The admission process is pretty straight forward and easy to understand as most of the details are available on the official university website. The process is a three-step process. firstly, one needs to submit an application form along with the application fee. secondly, one must appear in the MGU-GET entrance exam. The qualifying students are called for the third and final, personal interview and counseling round. The admission process is convenient and hassles.

Placement Experience:

MGU Meghalaya provides plenty of job opportunities many well-reputed companies come for campus placement. Many of my seniors are placed in good companies through campus placement. The university provides career counseling as well. Although the placement options are limited for some fields of study.
