Remarks :
College management is good and really helpful the mess food is not so good also that canteen in our college is so pathetic. the infrastructure of the college is really good and the teaching is also really good placement is patient or college need to work more on skill building of the weak students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Courses are quite industry driven with hands on experience on new technology and the curriculum is designed well to suit the industry. coding courses are really helping main learning coding and other things like IoT. I am really very interested in cyber security and Android development so according to me the course really satisfy my needs. and this really helped us to get a good placement in the college itself show the package average year this year was around 11 lacs but it will improve over the year because the next batches will be having more strength than the current passing batteries so the more company will visit the college and the placements will Surely rise in the subsequent years.
Placement Experience :
Talking about place when the placement is quite decent in this college like the median package is around 7. 5 lacs and the average factors for around 11 lacs this package will surely as a frequent years.
College Events :
We have annual technical cultural come sports event yuvaan which happens once a year in the month of March the average football is around 20000 local people from Assam and famous five and also participate in this event we have prices for dance and music activities plus we have Pro nights on the last day of events.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The tuition fees around 1 lakh for our batch and additionally we have to give 12000 for development fee and 12, 000 for hostel fees and 4000 mess advanced. So the total fees around 129000. I think this fees little high the main problem is the college does not provide any scholarship to any student coming from economically weaker section all the student can approach banks for education loans.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Right now I am managing my studies by my father saving this year I will get scholarship of faea this will cover my tuition fees as well as hostel and mess fees will be quite easy for me to continue my studies without any loan.
Campus Life :
We have really active and hectic schedules although we have lot of extra curricular activities quizzes and sports labs competition such as robotics debates with their various club which conducted activities for example we are music club dance club fine arts club robotics club machine learning club coding club and various other clubs the male female ratio as a 1 ratio 5. We do not face any kind of discrimination on the basis of caste colour religion or gender.
Hostel Facilities :
One thing I like the most about the college is se hostel a poster are well equipped. We have attached bathroom with all the facilities the only problem is that we have to live in in a small room which is basically for one people we have to to adjust with one more although a new venue hostel will be made this problem will get solve very soon.
Alumni/Alumna :
Colleges trying to build the alimony network to make IIIT Guwahati community strong. all the seniors guide us in all the events that happen in our college as well in in our placements.
Admission :
For BTech we have to give JEE mains exams so according to ranks there will be admission in this college. There is no management quota or any other mode of admission in the BTech for MTech or PhD there is direct interview based admission. First we have to give the exam for JEE mains then we have to sit in the counselling for getting the seat in the college.
Faculty :
Saying about faculty faculty are really very research oriented and doing great in their fields. The faculty to student ratio is very good in this college also where college NIRF ranking is 66 in engineering. Faculty are quite expertise in their subject and hold a good grip on their subject. The lecture are very much designed to give industrial experience and exposure.
