Remarks :

Very strict academics, high class facilities, great college life to mould ourself into some valuable personnels. Everything is there fun, knowledge, life, everything.

Entrance Preview :

IIT JEE Rank: SC 433 (Category)Any IIT is better to choose and at my rank offered course was Mechanical Engineering which I wanted to opt. So all went fine.

Course Curriculum Overview :

High class courses and skilled professors with good practical knowledge to share. IIT is a brand and IIT G is following that in terms of all the academic activities.

Internships Opportunities :

For College internship I went to join a start up called boond on a monthly stipend of 3000 INR. Since it was a start up so overall I had a great exposure and opportunity to work with aspiring entrepreneurs. I had to work on various areas not specifically realted to my course but over all I worked as management trainee.

Placement Experience :

Placements were very good as many companies were there to offer us jobs. Everyone including seniors and faculties helped us to get good jobs.I was selected for Infosys which was offering CTC of 6 Lac p a. Apart from these companies like google, Microsoft, Facebook, Schulburger, Samsung etc came to offer the jobs with high packages.

College Events :

Many inter hostel cultural and technical events are organised every year. Cultural events consist of singing, dancing, music, drama, fine arts etc. Sports events consist of every single sport and game, both indoor and outdoor. Technial events related to robotics, academic projects etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is very feasible and affordable to many in the country as the government of India itself give so much of fund to provide cheap high class education to the students and expect technological advancement in return. One semester cost is very less as compare to many institutes which provide high class education.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College do provide scholarships to the students who are excellent in academics and also to those who are less financially strong.

Campus Life :

Campus life is unforgeable. 4 years in heaven I can say. Each and every type of competitions are held to engage the students in various activities according to the interest of the students.

Hostel Facilities :

Facilities are really good and food are decent at hostels. Students have little controls on mess management to maintain the quality of the food taking care of hygiene.Hostels do have sports and arts related equipments and there are TV hall and play ground

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni meet very frequently to meet their batch mates and support their juniors to give the idea of professional life. Entrepreneurship are encouraged and guidance is always there for anyone.

Exam Structure :

One semester: 2 main exams. one is mid semester and another is end semester exam with some specific weightage respectively. Apart from these there are tests in between the semester, atleast 2 or more depending on the Professor.Assignments also consist som

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choose EE because it's have both core and it features so i believe that I will go for core but if the situation changes then accordingly i will shift. The curriculum is pretty good in this campus according to me that's why I have choose this course. I don't think I have enough thinking level to suggest about that. Before exam there should be some gap for studies purpose I mean to say classes should be off. And everything is good.

Life At IIT Guwahati

Placement Experience:

Placement drives are held in December of every year for the students who complete their 7th semester. Placements are quite good over here, The highest package this year is 2.4 crore and the average package fluctuates between 20 to 25 LPA every year. One can also go for higher studies, there is no harm.

MY GREENISH COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

My branch is Computer Science and Engineering. I am interested in computer skills like gaming, web development, coding, etc that's why I choose this course. In my college, every facility is provided like labs, sports ground and kits, medical facility, hostels and mess and, well educated and skilled faculty. Faculty : student ratio is around 1:50. Faculties are well experienced (Ph.D. holders) and have good teaching skills. But, I want to mention one thing that, you can't totally depend on the faculty, you need to pay extra effort by itself. B.Tech is of 4 years course that is divided into 8 semesters. Every semester 2 main exams are conducted. Exams are not much easy but also not too hard. You need to focus on academic too for decent pointers. If you are a sincere student then getting a good pointer is not hard.
