Remarks :

My view there are not many improvements to be considered very seriously. Personally i feel the management in some of their processes needs to be improved. Example When i got to work on my project in IIT kharagpur i faced some issues regarding the accommodation alloction of laptop, approvals from the management regarding hostels etc. However the process is finally successful but it took a lot of time for me to get all the approvals. So i feel this should be abit fast which doesn't affect the students time. Other than this i personally feel lucky to be a part of this organisation in terms of both studies and exposure to outside world.

Entrance Preview :

I have written GATE entrance exam in 2009 and have got 97% score. I am very much interested in electronics and so i got to know that IITH has good professors for VLSI. Actually i got seat in IIT karagpur but then i have got the desired branch in IITH and so i fulfilled my dream by joining here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is really so good and is well designed by the professors which are much useful for the students who wish to do their research after their PG. We have 2 semesters in 1st year and 2nd year is completely for project. The 2 semesters course is well planned by professors which lays a good foundation for the future project work.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes they provide internship while in campus placements itself and the stipend they provide is Rs 8000 per month and also the stipend process is very systematic they will directly transfer the amount to our account and the internship would be for an year or 6 months. I can list out a few companies that came to our campus Redpine signals,Analog semi,Qualcomm,Digicomm,Intel,Analog semi,Broadcomm,Analog devices and also a few other software comapnies like TCS,Mahindra satyam,HP etc.

Placement Experience :

Placements are really good and that too companies compete to choose the candidates with good packages almost 90% of my batch got placed in some or the other companies some in electronics and some in software. Here is the list of companies that i remember 1.Redpine signals (6.5 l per annum)2.Analog semi (6.8 l per annum)3.Qualcomm (8.5 l per annum)4.Digicomm (8.5 l per annum)5.Intel (8.5 l per annum)6.Analog semi (6.8 l per annum)7.Broadcomm (9.5 l per annum)8.Analog devices (10 l per annum)Few other software companies that i remember:1.Amazon (12 l per annum)2.Flipkart (11.5 l per annum)3.TCS (6.5 l per annum)4.Mahindra (4.5 l per annum).

College Events :

We had many college events,Debates,Cultural fests,Technical Talks and many more events. Some of them which i remember would include Tech Fest Quiz for all the campus students KTalks (Knowledge Talks) General Debates Tech Sessions from professors of other IITs or NITs Funda 2011 Cultiural Fests (Yearly event) Technograin 2012 Brain Boosters.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is really reasonable unlike the other private colleges. We have to pay 30k per annum which includes the hostel fee as well. There will not be any other monthly or annual fee other than this. It is much feasible than most of the other private colleges and universities. As this fee includes hostel fee also i feel its very feasible even for an average family to pay.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no scholarship offered however there is stipend to all the PG students and interns and research scholars. Apart from these college also provide bank loans for the students of backward classes. Also college sponsors for the students who attends for ieee paper conferences and also for the students who wish to present their conference papers abroad Note that college sponsors only for the students whose papers are selected for international conferences and for famous boards like IEEE.

Campus Life :

Here is no such gender ratio or diversity. Its a campus where one can gain enough knowledge. Unlike the other colleges it don't have any groups and disputes or regional gangs or feelings or disputes. Almost all the students in the college are well decent and their main motto is to have good knowledge on their studies. There is no racial discrimination even by the staff. The best thing is that there are no politics in the campus. If any student is found to be misbehaved or reason for any dispute he,she will be suspended for a few days which is obviously a bad remark in their conduct certificate.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are very neat and the best part is the food. You love the food in hostel. Its very hygienic and they provide a very good healthy and hygienic food. There are 2 sharing rooms in hostel and as the hostel seats will be provided to all the admitted candidates. And it is mandatory to stay in their hostel as the campus is located very far from the city. Not only here most of the IITs and NITs would prefer the students to stay in their hostels. Regarding the safety of the hostel its highly secured and the lab and library are opened 24*7. So students can feel very secured as there will be continuously monitored by the security inside the campus.Food and safety wise our hostels are the best part. I can rate 10 out of 10 for both of these.

Alumni/Alumna :

Our alumni network is very strong. There are some seniors who are still in contact with us. We had a lot of guidance from our seniors which helped us a lot during the assignments, any activities, placements. College will conduct alumni meet every year where we will get a chance to meet a few of them at least. Personally i feel its good to have contacts with your seniors through out your life. We even got lot of study materials related to our course from them which is really helpful.

Exam Structure :

He exam schedules are very well designed and even the lab infrastructure is really very good. That too in electronics field its very important to have a good laboratory where we can get some hands on on the actual chip manufacturing process and fabrication. Coming to the exam structure the paper would be really tricky where only the bookish knowledge will not be sufficient to get the score. And the invigilation is really very strict and also we will have grades for each subject and on 10 scale they will give the rating.

Placement Experience:

This is the most good part of this college. Placements are very good here for the CSE and other Circuital branches Placement are very good. Coming to the core branches they are a bit tough like everywhere else I'm from M.tech Environmental Engineering (civil department) Our batch strength is 28 . I'm writing this review on 22nd March, my senior batch (22-24) they also have same strength i.e 28. Out of 28 , 18 have been placed till date with av package of around 6.5 lpa which is a normal package which you can even expect from some good IITs (I'm not talking about bombay, Madras, kgp, Roorkee) . So Placements are really nice here and you will be exposed to various opportunities for your career growth irrespective of your branch. There are also various workshops and clubs which support entrepreneurship.

Placement Experience:

Mostly from 2nd semester of first year, internship opportunities start. Placement opportunities start during 2yr sem 1. Highest package is 28LPA and least is 3LPA Novartis, biocon, genpact , Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Sun Pharma, Aurobindo etc are few companies that provide placement opportunities. Most of the students get placed via campus placements. I decided to sit in placements and secure a job

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in master, i want to gain extra knowledge about computer science. Faculty is sufficient, faculty students ratio is good. Some faculty is not good, I don't want to mention the name here but they are really worst. I can't think that why iiit keep professors like this.

Because IIIT Hyderabad is one of the high colleges in India, the college's placements are also up to par. During our batch, the college's highest placement offer was around 45 LPA, and the average wage offer was around 18 LPA. The college's regular recruiters include Amazon, Adobe, Google, Facebook, Jio, Samsung, Code Nation, Uber, Qualcomm, and TCS. Several of my classmates were also offered pre-placement opportunities during the internship programme.

It is a good course. Yet, Teaching staff could be better with more specialized trending research faculty and Placement department could be better with person from management background heading it.

PGEE is the exam which is require to crack for initial filtering after that some candidates get selected and call for personal interview and this is the final hurdle to get entrance in IIIT.
