Remarks :

Everything was very well managed and adequate facilities have been provided throughout the stay be it related to academic or extra curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is based on the research interests of the person and after the completion of course work, the research topic is allowed (which is mostly the choice of the student). In addition to this students can take any course running in the institute based on his/her interests. This type of study pattern helps the students acquire knowledge which they think is beneficial to them and also according to their research interests.

Class Size : 20Course Fees : INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience :

As I have done M. Tech. and Ph. D. in civil engineering, so most research and teaching based jobs are offered to me. As I was interested in teaching I continued my Ph.D. and not focused on other placements options.

College Events :

Annual technical festAnnual cultural festAnnual sport meetInter-IIT sports meet. All the events are organized at all Indian level, students from engineering colleges all over the country come to the campus to participate in these events. Apart from this, there are many other events for students of the institute only. Related to music, dance, drama, poetry, photography, star gazing, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

FeasibleFees is around 35000 per semester and the mode of payment is online. There is no additional fee needed to be paid in order to secure a seat. Transparency to fee breakdown is provided by the institute. Many other facilities are also available within the campus at subsidized rates.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Not opted for any educational loan or scholarship. The fees are already nominal, and also government (MHRD) gives a monthly stipend to master and Ph.D. students.

Campus Life :

The proportion of girls is very less compared to boys. But still, gender equality is maintained in all activities be it events, sports, workshops, etc. Also, there is no biasness on the basis of gender, race, religion, etc. Overall a very healthy living atmosphere is there which can help each and every individual to grow.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, I opted for hostels, hostel the spacious and well equipped with all basic amenities. Double and single-seater room are available in hostels, rooms are allocated based on the course and year in which you are registered.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, they are quite helpful. Be it related to staying in Institute or after passing out regarding jobs and all.

Admission :

After b.tech. in engineering, one needs to appear for all India entrance examination GATE, which is held mostly in the months of February and March. After clearing the exam one can get admission in M. Tech. or direct Ph. D. based on the score in exam and B. Tech percentage/cgpa.

Faculty :

All the faculties of the institute are well acquired in their fields. They are either Ph.D. or post-doctorate from renowned world-class institutes. Due to their high qualifications, they are capable of providing both conventional and recent developments in the subject of their expertise.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement from their final year however some students also get PPO from the internships they do. Hu dreds of companies visit in a single placement session and the package may vary from lakhs to crores (not for phd)

I love my college years.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester of the course, the students are eligible for the college placement session. We all know that the IITs are known for their campus placements with very high packages for Jobs. The college placement quality is awesome because the institution is the best university, and placement also has a very high percentage. The college has a record of 85 percent selection in Placement and the remaining 15% are those who leave the placement sessions to do something else or open any start-up. The college's highest placement offer is 2 crore per annum and the average wage placement is 30- 35 lacs per annum. The main recruiting companies are Snapdragon, Amazon, Google, etc. My plans are different I want to become a college professor.

There are number of criteria to select this institution such as; Good in research output/ Best faculty/ My research interest area match with faculty specialization area / High ranking NIRF/ Near to hometown/ Good reputation/ World class living standards/ Easy to access databases

Admission:

To get admission first, you have to clear the GATE examination. According to the GATE score, the final list is prepared, and the departments call for written examination and interview. Everyone has to face an interview.

Its the best Institute

Admission:

The applicant must have cleared NET JRF to get admission in the PhD program at CSIR. Only top rank holders are offered a seat since there are only 10 seats for the program. I was preparing for the NET exam for almost one year. I was lucky to secure the rank.

Placement Experience:

CSIR has pretty good placement records. A PhD student will earn during his doctorate, and even post that, a package equivalent to those “high paying” corporate jobs.

Admission:

Getting a Ph.D. in IITs is depends on your research area and your interest. I have done my M.Tech from IIT Hyderabad after which I applied for Ph.D. admission to IIT Roorkee. Where followed by a technical interview I got admission. I have qualified GATE-2013 and GATE-2017 however, Being an M.tech degree holder from IIT Hyderabad helped me a lot in getting a Ph.D. Although, these days GATE is not mandatory for Ph.D. admission if you are an M.Tech degree holder.
