Course Curriculum Overview :
In Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research College, courses like BSc, BPT, and application process normally start in the month of June. There's a lot of choice in speech language pathology as this is the very vast field for research purposes and clinical practices. This is the double degree program so a graduate can do the both things in clinical practices together.
Placement Experience :
PGIMER does not organize for a campus placement facility but all the students who track their education from PGIMER are able to get good jobs very easily. There is a tremendous learning in the institute and by the end of 4 years a student?s turns into a professional. They can get jobs easily in the hearing aid clinics or hearing aid manufacturing companies.
College Events :
There is annual college fest celebrated every year around February month. And one spring fest is there and there are so many workshops and conferences events are also there. Like in our field we have two workshops and one national level convention every year. The campus life is the college is moderately exciting and there are many sports activities that are arranged inside the campus. The students can take part in various sports activities like Swimming Pool is in campus. The pool is available to Swimmers for 3 hours daily and they can come for swimming from April to October.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees are very much feasible around 500 Rs yearly for all paramedical courses which are very much feasible for everyone. And even for other categories is around 250 rupees per annum. So if we talk about the fee structure it is very much feasible for all. Fees will be according to the institute based on the status of the students. The maximum fee should be paid by the student on time and they will give a time period for those who cannot pay on time.
Fees and Financial Aid :
There is no scholarship or loan facility offered by the college as the fee structure is very low. The amount we have to pay is your stipend of 4 months for your whole graduation fees, but yes for higher degrees government banks students? loan facilities are there. Yes my university provides different Scholarship to the Candidates coming from SC/ST or other backward classes. I don't apply for any kind of scholarship as the fees is quite reasonable at my college.
Campus Life :
Being one of the best institutes in the country, PGIMER definitely has all the modern facilities. They have the best in category machines, labs and equipment. A student gets a chance to work with the latest technology and learn each and everything practically. In addition the quality of food in the doctor's mess is also good. If we talk about these extracurricular activities this college is less graded in that sector because in this college the more focuses is on the clinics and academics not on these activities. As this prestigious institute states that patients life is more important than anything else.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, they are very much helpful in guiding and building your great future as their recommendations are very much helpful for all of us related with this field. Recommendations from senior will be helpful in getting jobs and higher packages. All my seniors are very superior and soft spoken, and all the students are helpful. Also, there is also a separate alumni department so that all the ex-students can stay connected to each other and can take part in various events and programs
Admission :
The Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research is located in Chandigarh. It is one of the most important training, medical and educational institutes in the Chandigarh. Apart from medical services, PGIMER boasts of providing training facilities in all the different medical disciplines next to with the diploma, fellowships, doctoral and post-doctoral degrees. The minimum qualification for admission to the MD course is having an MBBS degree from a trustworthy university.
Faculty :
The Professors of Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research are certainly the best in Chandigarh. They have a lot of experience and a lot of achievements, research papers and patents to their credit. The teaching is mostly useful leaning, where the students get to treat the patients from the beginning but under the proper guidance. The institute absolutely makes students industry ready. Faculty of our course is very confident as they help you and guides you personally in many aspects.
