Entrance exam 2 was conducted by Baba Farid University dated 10 July 2022. My rank was 89 so I got selected out of approximately 3000 students. Then I registered for BSc nursing at the Government College of Nursing Rajindra Hospital Patiala in 1st counseling.
The admission process is well managed by staff. There is a prospectus for all guidelines. I git Admission here after passing neet exam with good scores. GMC Patiala is a top college in Punjab. I got GGsh Faridkot initially but I upgrade to GMC Patiala in 2nd counseling.
Neet UG exam is the eligibility criteria. You can get the application on the site of nta.nic.in. No reservations are availed by me during admission. More time consuming should be less time consuming which could be better.
MBBS is a full-time course of 5.5 years including 4.5 years of studies and 1 year of rotary practice. This is offered by Baba Farid University of health sciences, Faridkot. And approved by the national medical commission. The admission is followed up by 12th passed with biology, chemistry, physics, and also with NEET-UG (national eligibility entrance test undergraduate students). In this college total seats are 225. In which 25% sc/st quotes 15%obc and rest for the general category students. The minimum age of the student is 17 at the end of the 31st of December. For admission, the certificates that are required are 10th certificate, 11th 12th class certificates including sciences subjects, domicile certificate, character certificate, caste certificate, emigration certificate from the board, birth cert. There are 3 rounds of counseling in which first two are online counseling and 3rd the last one is physical counseling. Medical should be done this is also included in the admission process.
I have chosen this college because of its huge Prestige this college admits the students on the basis of merit only and the only bad aspect of this college is its faculty and academics the reason of preference of this college over the others is that Patiala is a good City and this Medical College is also having good infrastructure with good facilities.
I chose this college over others because of the very basic Indian mentality,i.e, a GOVERNMENT college gains you more fame than a private college. While searching for top colleges for bachelors in anatomy, I came across this college review on collegeduniya.com and it helped me a lot to know in details about the College. Also because the admissions are late in August-September, so the students who are running late gets the advantage. Admissions are done on merit based on marks obtained in 10+2. As the name suggests, this is purely what government scenes are across India. You get the benefits of graduating from a government college only when you avail a job just after it. Among all the government colleges regulated under BFUHS (university), the faculty and administration at GMC, Patiala is best. After that comes GMC, Amritsar. In case, some students are confused during counselling, this can help you. The only bad aspect is the poor infrastructure and outdated technological administration.
This college is mainly for MBBS Students. Some time you have to feel bad to being a pharmacy student. This is the only one thing that need to improved. Teachers are also not much interested to improve conditions of pharmacy students. No farewell and fresher party Held for pharmacy.
Good college of medical very good college in punjab. And good plaacement
Both GMC Patiala and CMC Ludhiana are well-respected colleges in India. Both offer excellent education and resources for students.
Let's consider the following aspects:
However, the only drawback is that CMC Ludhiana is located amidst the hustle and bustle such that one has to cross the main road to reach the hospital from the hostel.
