- I like the infrastructure of the college, it is new and with all basic facilities.
- The faculty's are good, experienced and helpful.
Dislikes
- Although the teacher are good but you need to do study yourself for placement process as they only teach related to syllabus only.
- The semester are very small hardly runs for 3-4 month along with exam and holiday.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have choose bachelor of engineering in computer science laso i have taken specialization in it which is artificial intelligence and machine learning. I choose this subject because i have interest in this topic also the course fees is less in this colege as compared to other college related to specilaiztion so i decided to do this couse and i selected this college. The corse teaches about Ai which is the current and future trand if we focus in our study we can easily be placed in any company. The areas need to improvement is that there is quite good theoritical knowledge but the practical knowledge is less. It practical implementaion should be implemented to undrstand it easily. The midsemester test is of 1 hour while final is of 3 hours.
Placement Experience :
The placement of the colege is quite good. From the 3rd year they allow us to apply for campus placement.The requirement are simple we must try to keep our cpgpa more than 7 with no active backlog. The companies like tcs, ibm, wipro, mahindra etc visit the campus. The highest package was around 62 lakh . 60-70% aregetting placed .
Fees and Financial Aid :
I am in the last year of my college life. My fees was 105000 for 2021 batch but now it has increased for 120000 for 2024 batch. We also have to pay 2500 as examination fees. I have got schlorship based on my cucat exam which was 50% . The scholarship continue untill the cgpa become less then 7.5 or you fail or have backlog in any subject. This fees is for B.e in computer science.
Campus Life :
There are various number of events in chandigarh university such as cufest, tasan night etc. There are also various celebrity event who come to launh movies. There are various books and the are 8-9 library in various library. The classrooms are equiped with all the facilities also labs with pc are available. There are also various sport event along with cricket, kabaddi, football, chess etc. There are also various group like tech club, event clubs etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The facilities which are provided: gym facilites 24*7 light and water supply food The quality is basically good not best. The registration pocess is simple when you take admission you are asked whether youwant to take hostel facility or not. If we say yes then they ask the type of room and pay the fee. The type of room is 2 seater, 3 seater, 4 seater and 5 seater. It is of different range. Pg or rented room are available near the colloge campus, the room range from 3-7k without food .
Admission :
I choose this college over the other college because it is on of the best in norh india in pivate colleges also the infrastructure, the placement record is quite good andfees is also less and they provide schlorship if we perform well in cucat exam during admission. The admission process is simple you should have completed your 12th and mark greater than 60% . You have to fill form and give cucat exam and you get admission.
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is about 1:45 something. The faculty relationship with student are basically good, they teach us and help us if we faces any problem related to acedimics. There are basically 3 written examination- 2 Mid semester examination and 1 final examination along with 2 practical exaination- 1 practical mst and 2nd final practical examination. The topic comes form the syllabus of the semester.
Night Life :
There are gym available inside the campus only which are free for hostel student also cafetarias which serves all types are also present in good numbers also the library open from 9.30 am to 8.00 pm. The sollege timing is 9.30 to 16.2. There is basically no hotel timing but you have take permission before going outside of the campus.
