- Infrastructure. One of the main reason i joined this college was the infrastructure. Around Punjab where CU is located , CU has the best infrastructure that they provide at an affordable rate compare to other private colleges around the area.
- Professors. These professors are totally good. I know not all professors are good but CU maintain that every professor at least have phd or should be pursuing phd
Dislikes
- Faculty. The faculty is not so great sometimes.
- Higher authorities. They just work there not caring about students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum of CU is good. I mean its not of IIT level but you can get your work fone easily. I eill not consider it hard but it will cover all the necessary elements required to cover the course you take with extra elective subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
From third year its compulsory to at least take one internship and CU provide evey opportunities for its student to get an internship. There are programs all around the year in which a student can get an internship
Placement Experience :
Placement drives are there. From the second last year of your course there are compulsory placement drives that you have to sit in. In placemrnt matter CU takes it very strictly and create evey situation that would bring the best out of the student of CU.
Fees and Financial Aid :
In Chandigarh University, The fee structure is as follows:- 1. Per semester the fees is - 120000/- (which increases every year but the fees you took admission with will remain till the end of degree. For example I got admission with per semester fee of 120000/- so for my 4 years the fees will remain same). 2. For a year its - 240000/- 3. For total 4 year its - 960000/- 4. Also for every semester you have to pay an extra 2500/- fees which consisdered as examination fees. 5. At last there is one thing called TPP and NON-TPP which basically means if you want to sit in placement drives you have to pay extra 11000/- otherwise you are not allowed to sit in placement drives. 6. Coming to scholarship, yes there is a scholarship program which a student can take. It is an online test bases on which you get discount on your tution fee that ranges from 10% - 100% off your tution fees. But you have to maintain 7.5 cgpa per year to maintain your scholarship. But if you loose your scholarship you can get it back another year but the scholarship you will get will be 50% less than what you were getting before.
