Mannered students and staff. No one cares of what others are doing untill or unless they interact with them
Social interaction is very good as there are many new things to learn.seniors and batchmates all were good and overall environment is also very good. Ragging is strictly prohibited in the campus

Course Curriculum Overview :

I opt Bcomllb from uils department. It's a professional course. The course duration is 5 years with 10 semesters. Different Syllabus and curriculum is followed. Teaching method is okay and MST are taken and presentatioms were held in each semester

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships were not very commonly offered by the campus but through other links like seniors and groups they provide good platform for internship. Projects were given and other tasks and activities were also there to perform

Fees and Financial Aid :

* Fees for 1st semester is 70000 and for 2nd is 40000 as tution fees Extra were department fund of 9300 library fund 200 and examination fees 2000 Different concessions were given like single parent concession,EWS,SC-ST etc.

Campus Life :

It provides a holistic and good platform for learning along with enjoyment. Academics were all good . Regular fests and events were happen.youth fest ,festive events with diverse cultures were organised here. Social environment is best in Pu Campus

Admission :

It is government University and with a wellknown good campus. here campus life is good compared to other campuses. Admission is based on entrance exam with 50% of +2 marks. Exam level is moderate. It has 360 seats overall,180 for bcomllb and 180 for ballb

Faculty :

Faculty members are very good and well experienced. All were very helpful and knowledgeable. Some of them are very professional and strict while other are friendly and approachable. All the faculty staff is very cooperative

Night Life :

Nightlife is best because hostels were opened 24 by 7 without any restrictions or formalities . All hostels include gyms tuck shops tailor reading rooms common rooms etc. a centralised library is also there which also open 24/7. Most favourite place of every student is STUC

Internship opportunities at PU Chandigarh.

Placement Experience:

Placement is not as good as compared to other universities. It provides low package like 35000 per month . Median salary is 2.2 lakhs . Placements also depend on the CV of the students and marks he/they got in the university exams. In law particularly , lesser number of student pursue placement in Panjab University. The average package offered is 3 - 4 lac per annum . Some of the companies that frequently visit are Ernst & young , Infosys , wipro , vodaphone , Adobe etc .

Remarks:

Negative: The Department lacks somewhere in the Infrastructure, as in the number of class rooms are less and there’s no proper parking for students. Positive: If you make it to UILS, than I don’t think so u’ll ever regret for anything such is the atmosphere and the ambience and that is the reason why a student even forgets about the lack of infrastructure of the department.

Looking forward for something more

Remarks:

More interactive sessions, more no. of events can be organised. Non- teaching department can be more humble and should be in fact Professors should not be biased, which they are Overall experience is good, I will be taking no. Of lessons from here along with me Till far, it has been a blended mixture of study,events, competitions & lifetime learning which in all have resulted in personality growth
