Remarks :

Actually IIIT Hyderabad is one of the top institution in India for engineering. Here the coding quality is good and undergraduate students do research from their 3 rd year itself with 100 percent placement and in a good location in the city, this college offers wholesome growth. I joined from JEE mains mode, but IIIT Hyderabad offers kvpy mode, Olympiad mode, mains mode for single degree students and ugee exam for dual degree students. The only drawback is the college is very small compared to IITs and nits and college wouldn't much encouragement for games and cultural activities. But a student who is passionate about computer science will surely like this college. Established in 1998 IIIT Hyderabad has been an institute for research. So people interested in research can also join here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am interested in computer science from my +2 level itself, the student-faculty ratio is 50:1. There are three types of faculty professors, associate professor, assistant professor. All are well qualified and good in their area. Exams will be frequent ie.. once in a month. Two mid sem exams and one end sem exam.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 330000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The campus doesn't interfere in the internship process but some professors won't agree for interns for their students as they encourage research Companies like jio, Google, Zomato, gold man Sachs, Microsoft, uber, ola, amazon, motoq etc come for internships.

Placement Experience :

3rd-year students are allowed for internship and 4th year for placements. Highest package is 84 lakhs for last year and avg is 20-22 lakhs depending on the branch. 100 percent placements and many people get foreign campus ms and PhD offers I want to pursue my ms degree after my BTech degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee hike is 5 thousand per new year. So for me, it was 1,25,000 but for my next batch, it is 130000 per semester. So overall fee with hostel and mess fall between 3,20,000- 3,30,000. Fee for vegetarian students will be less as dishes have less price. Every student who gets admission in IIIT will be given loan in sbi IIIT Hyderabad with no questions. Underprivileged students get a fee from alumni fund which will be paid by student after he/she gets the job.

Campus Life :

The facility is the annual fest in IIIT Hyderabad and it is conducted every year on Jan or Feb. There is cultural fests, spirts fests apart from annual fests. Almost all engineering books, novels are available and any book which isn't available we can request so that library ensures to keep them available. For first and second-year students physical education is a course with credits. So people should wake up and do exercise and play everyday. And apart from this sports club keeps many games and there are volleyball, basketball, hockey, football, badminton and shuttle courts in the campus.

Hostel Facilities :

Per room two people till a third year and single rooms in the fourth year. Four messes and online portal for mess registration. South mess( south style food). North mess(north Indian style food). Kadamb mess(mixed style with veg and non-veg). Yukhtar mess(Jain and food with Nutritional values). All students must stay in the hostel and hostel is very near to classes. Mess quality is wonder and rates good. Every day two breakfast and lunch have Rotis with curry every day. Free snacks for registered students for a mess. This mess food is better than in any IITs or nits.

I was quite disappointed with the cirriculum that has been designed. Its not at all tailored to teach you the approaches for solving the real world problems . The cirriculum is atleast 10 years behind. The same old things are taught. Talking about exams, they are conducted for every quarter of a semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing this college was done when I was in my Intermediate, I was attracted to the Courses & mainly towards a BS Degree. We have Regular classes along with a Digital Teaching system. & most of the assignments are activity based which helps in gaining practical & theoretical based Knowledge. The teaching faculty are really good, and most of them are down to earth. Along with us, Our teachers also work hard, they train us in the best way they can. We can openly discuss our doubts, or topics, which we feel hard or unable to understand, etc. By working hard, we can easily pass the term exams, without great difficulty.
