AIEEE, I secured 1210 rank and I opted for computer science program in IIITH
Course Curriculum Overview :
From the 1st and 2nd year itself you'll start doing all the computer science courses that generally start in 3 year in IIT's. So it helps students to learn and explore more in their interested fields.
Internships Opportunities :
Several companies appeared for internships like google, microsoft, flipkart. All the MNC's and top companies and startups too. You'll get stipend on an average 50k - 75k per month.
Placement Experience :
Generally IIIT has a record of 100% placements every year. As I mentioned above all the top companies came with outstanding packages.
College Events :
Felicity is the top event held every year during FEB. It's being sponsored by many companies, banks and one of the best events in Hyderabad. More than 1500 people will appear for several activities that take place during the fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It's a deemed university and not funded by government so fee is bit expensive as it touches 2.2lacs per year and the good part is you'll get all the resources for every single rupee you paid.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yeah college will provide loan and if you're very poor you'll get money from IIIT Alumni. Many people availed it.
Campus Life :
In IIIT people eagerly participate for ACM ICPC regionals. Ratio will be like 3:1 (B:G) and two workshops will be conducted every semester and you'll have an opportunity to share your ideas, views etc.
Hostel Facilities :
First and second year double occupancy and later single occupancy. Mess is fantastic and very hygiene.
Alumni/Alumna :
IIIT alumni really awesome as these people work hard and participate for several meetings held by IIIT. They organize and plan for several activities held by IIIT.
Exam Structure :
In IIIT there will be two mid sems and one end semester. You'll have labs only for the first year. You'll have plenty of time to explore and work on your own interests which is one of the best part in IIIT.
Faculty :
Obviously outstanding and they help you at any point during the semesters. The papers they set are full of logical and maintain standards like stanford, MIT etc
