Remarks :

They give us good education and staffs are friendly The mess food is very bad and the fees are high. The admission is only through merit and after the counselling is over you can come and join. The staffs are friendly and we can learn everything in a practical manner so prefer this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As I want to become a software engineer I choose this course. The faculty is well trained and they are very friendly to students. ME is must and now there only dictates. They teach us practically. Monthly once we have exams and it is very difficult to pass.

Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Sensiple, cts etc coder with 10000. When we finished our project incorrect time they provide a job for their company

Placement Experience :

From 3rd semester they are eligible for placement for masters. Infosys, Tcs, hcl, tech Mahindra, Zoho,cts etc, 100 offers. The highest package is 10lakhs per annually and the average is 3.6 lakh per annum. 80 percent of students getting placed. Working in a software company.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees hike is the same for every student and the cost is high. If we get university ranks they give us free education and I got a job in Infosys with 20000 stipends.

Campus Life :

We have the college day in February and tech fest is on the month of September. They have every book's for every department and they have every journal. They have net facilities and we have a blackboard and then light fan etc. We have a mates club and every department has each club.

Hostel Facilities :

They have ac and the non-ac room with attached and non attached bathrooms. The meals are bad at the mess but u can have food in the canteen where the food is good, weekly once we have non-vegetarian in mess. The hostel is must for Masters. I stayed in the hostel as it was a must.

Hostel Fee : INR 98000 per year

The placements are so good after first semester based on the CGPA the companies will start recruiting in second semester. The highest package is 36LPA(including all benefits from company) and the average package is around 13 LPA. Some companies will ask above 60% and some will ask above 70%, 75% etc its based on the company

Why you should prefer IIT Madras over other IIT's for Mtech/Btech (CSE).

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cirriculum is perfect , machine learning is specialised here , course like Deep learning , PRML , linear algebra , AI offered here are best. Grade distribution is also fine here not as such burder , they give assignments and quizes.

I am pursuing ME computer science and engineering course from AVCE.It is a two-year duration course with 4 specializations. Candidates who have completed BE or B.Tech in relevant discipline are eligible to join ME course. Admission to ME program is given on the basis of GATE/ TANCET scores. I got selected on the basis of my GATE score.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very nice. They often organise on-campus placement drives. Companies like grassroots,intelenet, Revol Softwares, Aqua groups, IDBI etc visit the campus with good job opportunities.

IICPT review for MTech Course

Admission:

Admission is on the basis of IIFPT Post Graduate Entrance Examination. A merit list is prepared on the basis of the entrance exam scores and overall academic performance of the student. I always wanted to join the institute for a bachelor’s, but opting for the Food Tech trade was a last minute decision.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college is pretty decent. Many companies visited our campus this year compared to the previous batch. But still there is a lot of scope for improvement. The average salary package offered is around 3-4 LPA. There is a placement cell which deals with all the placement activities. Students have to search for internships on their own.

Entrance Preview:

I took JEE, I got the rank 2439. I opted for this particular because It was largest and has good name in industry. Also it was close to home and food was to my liking. I found out about food by Alumni.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are very good centrally meaning consultancy, analytics, business etc, while in my department it could be better. General electrics, and core recruiters Hi-fi companies comes once in 2-3 years due to student leaving the companies after a few months for an entrepreneurship or startup. Highlight in Core recruitment: While Rolls-Royce was opened for M. Tech. Students in our department.
