Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology (CIET) was established in 2001 under the aegis of Kovai Kalaimagai Education trust. The admission process is very simple, this college comes under Anna University so those who get above the 140 cutoffs in their 12th board exam can easily get into this college. We can find the application form by directly visiting the college or through Anna University's counseling process. My reservation is OBC so they provide 70 vacancies on the same. The overall process is good.

The admission process is based on counselling. The application form will be given in the office room. Application fees will be around 1000 rupees. And Application dates will be from July to August. The admission process takes a day of time. Most of the process is manual. If the admission process can be automated then it will be good for both parents and students

No, the admission process is fine and very neat and clean they give an admission form you have to fill it then you need the original mark sheet of your UG and 10th and 12th original copies. The admission fee Is 10000RS you have to pay early. For SC candidates they provide reservation benefits which are very useful.

I applied only to TNEA counseling. No, I don't avail of any special quota. I got BC Muslim quota. Minimum marks will be pass marks in every subject on 12th std. We will get college according to our cutoff mark.

It has a good atmosphere with chill weather ...and it is located 25km from the city ...but for hostelers, it's a good place with good climate, security. The admission process is based on counseling conducted by Anna University, Chennai...Once if got selected for the college that I have applied for ..they sent us an allotment letter...by using that letter the admission process begins Reason for preferring- The fees are minimal when compared to the other engineering colleges in Coimbatore...and there are good faculties with practical knowledge.
