Remarks

Positive remark is like Only college in the valley providing engineering courses from decades. College has very lush green campus with state of the art architecture. Negative reviews. Must provide placement.

Course Curriculum Overview

Best in the state and very well as far as we look market demand course syllabus is up to date and every semester covers 6 subject atleast, course also covers latest programming languages which are job oriented.

Placement Experience

Placemats and internship are not so good at the college.once you came to 5th semester you have to look for internships by own but college will help you only by providing letter from the college.after the completion of college no placement is given.

College Events

Science festival, cultural festival, annual day.every year students participate in science festival by showcasing their innovative inventions and get their rewards by various teams, cultural festival is also celebrated with live colours.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, actually this is a govt sponsored college and after the selection government has set up feasible fee structures but if a student want to go on management quota the he or she has to pay very huge amount

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes college also participate in government sponsored scholarships live merit cum means, rural scholarships and labour scholarships. Students apply for these scholarships and get their scholarships accordingly.

Campus Life

There is very good gender ratio, students often engage themselves in parties and other social activities like college fest is celebrated every year in which both boys and girls participate with high energy. Every year students participate in sports fest in which they participate in various sports activities.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors were very arrogant and often did ragging when we came to the college but after that we discarded ragging and made college atmosphere very feasible for juniors.no annual meetings of alumni is arranged ever by the college.

Admission

I went thourough government entrance exam in which I got selected. Every year state government conduct engineering and medical entrance exam in which students with high merit got admission in state sponsored colleges.

Faculty

Best in the state, faculty is highly qualified and good performers, faculties are masters atleast, faculties are posted as assistant professors and professors, faculty is very friendly and cooperative.

Placement Experience:

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

Placement Experience:

Yes my college offers placements for each branch students becomes eligible after sixth semester if they doent have any active supply in there course and very company have their own criteria to make eligble to the student for placements like cgpa etc. companies visited in civil was L&T, Tata steel, Jsw, Afcon etc and the average package was 6 lakh every company brought diffrent no. of offers average was 5 in civil highest package got to mine class crc of 1300000 that was a psu and the percentage of students got placed was 10% only. mine plans after was to prepare for goverments exams.

Garbage college

I choose this colege because i failed in jEe exam and this prompted me to join it. I joined this college because it was local and i would be able to be as day scholar in the college. The admission process was quite difficult and they literally make hinged into the decision to apy admission fee in advance to have a security deposit if otherwise student later leaves the college and joins other institution they would make it look like a penalty and they withhold the priginal docs which you should never show them .
