Remarks :

Overall it is good. it has provided a very good atmosphere. facilities and amenities provided by them are good. faculties are experienced. There are many positives as i am talking about a NIT which is a College of national importance

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum is good. But first year curriculum is useless. Its just like repeating 12th. Exams go like this in every semester-2 sessionals of 15 marks each and atlast a end semester exam of 60 marks and 10 marks for assignment. labs are twice a week. its chill

Placement Experience :

I am a first year undergrad. so placements and job opportunities are something on which i don't have a clear picture. still i can give a rough picture of this by analysing stats of placements. many jobs are from it sector. less core companies which is a scenario in every nit

College Events :

Aarohi Induction programme Department gathering Teachers day Institute gathering Axis are the events conducted in College. out of which axis is a technical event and Aarohi is a cultural event. it is central India's biggest cultural fest. institute gathering IG is the most serious event and most participated one. it is a mixed fest involving sports, literary and cultural events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

2, 00, 000 including hostel fee. For me 2lakh rupees is expensive this varies person to person because all have different financial status. Only good thing is there is fee reimbursement not total fee but some helpful amount like 80thousand

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Central govt scheme for reimbursement of tuition fee based on student parents annual income. loan can be easily availed in sbi particularly student loan. student loan pays the total fee for 4 years and collects the money after your graduation.

Campus Life :

Labs are well equipped. sports section is also good providing sports equipments and indoor courts are well maintained. 2 big grounds. out of which 1 is a football ground and the other is a cricket ground which has practice nets too.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure is too good. hostel is of 10 floors. first floor is for guests. if your parents come to visit you they don't have to worry about accomodation. we have good ventilation and each room is accommodated by 2. so you don't feel bored and don't get too disturbed as there is only one person other than you in room.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

College seniors are quite helpful. as they have experienced things which are quite new for us. they become guiders for us. they help through every difficulty. there is even a concert of student mentor. where a group of 8 people are allotted to senior to give guidance and advice when in trouble.

Admission :

Firstly one needs to give JEE mains entrance test. based on merit list of that exam NITs are alloted. basically NITs are institutes of national importance. VNIT is one of those NITs. after getting a rank you have to apply for Colleges in which you want a seat, after applying College will decide whether you get that branch or not based on your rank.

Faculty :

They are highly qualified and experienced in their field. they have heavy interest in what they are doing. they are easily approachable and helpful. they know how to teach student they cancel class if students are uninterested to listen.

From 7 semester the students are allowed to sit in placements The companies like TCs And capegeminis is common for mass recruitment and new companies like Accenture also visisted And total 200+ offers were made in placements Highest package this year was 21 lakhs in IT sector and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% students get placed. I am going to do business after graduation as i dont trust college as it would give me placement

Our beautiful College

Placement Experience:

From the third-year sixth semester our college taking campus placement or internship programs. In the past, our college has got an average of 4 LPA packages and the highest 12 or 14 LPA packages. There are so many companies like TCS, COGNIGENT, WIPRO, etc. Our College gives 95-98% placement in engineering. My plan is to do a job in a data scientist post in the company and give my best to that company that's all.

Is RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering a good place for seeking admission

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last year. There are many good companies that come and take part in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini etc. come here for placements. The highest package in my understanding was about 30 lakhs as studied and searched by me. Many students secure packages above 3.5 lakhs in our college. About 90% of students get placed through the drives. My plan is also to take a good job from placement and then do my masters.

My Engineering Life Review in this college

Admission:

I got admission through CAP Round as directed by AICTE and DTE, the process is of 3 rounds until you choose a college and finalize it. Admission dates for FE students start from around May-June period as college opens at around 15 July approx. And Students need to bring all documents attested and submit the original 10th- 12th documents in the college and after completing the graduation. He/She can collect the originals from the college after collecting LC from the college.
