The management of college is fine. They are very quick in terms of response to any situation.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is such that it will help us in the industry structure so thatvitvwipl help us in the placement process. Industrial visits are organized by college on regular basis. Exam are in 3parts 1st sessional 2nd sessional and end sem. As the exams contains most numericals on daily life problems it helps us to get a real engg point of view.

Class Size : 90Course Fees : INR 132000 per year

Placement Experience :

Exxon Mobil, Godrej, Reliance, Pidilite, Goldman Sachs etc are the main recruiting companies for jobs as well as internships.

College Events :

Aarohi' is the annual cultural festival of VNIT. It is the largest cultfest of central India. Celebrities like Zakir Khan, Kanan Gill, Papon, The Local Train etc were the part of proshows being held at this cultural festival. 'AXIS' is the annual technical festival of VNIT.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is 66600 per semester. The mode of payments include net banking, Challan etc. The college provide transparency in the fee structure. It is available on the college website in detail. In order to freeze your seat in any NIT you first need to deposited Ra 40000 initially then it is deduced from your fees once your admission is confirmed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee remission is there those whose annual income is below 6 lakhs. Itvcan be availed by filling the form which is available in the academics section.

Campus Life :

Campus life is fantastic. The sports facility are well maintained. You can really enjoy the campus life of the college. There are robotics dedicated clubs like iV labs. You can find a lot if diversity among students as students from all over the country come to study here.

Hostel Facilities :

In the first year the room is shared by 4 roomates then afterwards 2nd year onwards you get your individual room. There are plenty of rooms available so there will be no need to rent PG 's rooms. The rooms are well maintained. From 2nd year onwards you can use the Lan ports in the rooms which provide high speed internet.

Hostel Fee : INR 72000 per yearExternal Expense : Rs. 2000 - Rs. 4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network is strong. The senior students are helpful. The senior students help in the important aspects like placements.

Admission :

I got into this college through entrance exam JEE. As this is NIT, It is the only way to get admission there is no other way like management quota etc. Based on the JEE ranks merit list is announced and based upon your rank you get the appropriate NIT.

Faculty :

Normally 40-50 lectures are there in the course. Teachers are well qualified almost each one of them hold a phd degree from prestigious college's like IIT Bombay. Each one of them holds a patent on their name. They've always encouraged us to do the research work.

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester the students are allowed to sit in placements The companies like TCs And capegeminis is common for mass recruitment and new companies like Accenture also visisted And total 200+ offers were made in placements Highest package this year was 21 lakhs in IT sector and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% students get placed. I am going to do business after graduation as i dont trust college as it would give me placement

Our beautiful College

Placement Experience:

From the third-year sixth semester our college taking campus placement or internship programs. In the past, our college has got an average of 4 LPA packages and the highest 12 or 14 LPA packages. There are so many companies like TCS, COGNIGENT, WIPRO, etc. Our College gives 95-98% placement in engineering. My plan is to do a job in a data scientist post in the company and give my best to that company that's all.

Is RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering a good place for seeking admission

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last year. There are many good companies that come and take part in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini etc. come here for placements. The highest package in my understanding was about 30 lakhs as studied and searched by me. Many students secure packages above 3.5 lakhs in our college. About 90% of students get placed through the drives. My plan is also to take a good job from placement and then do my masters.

My Engineering Life Review in this college

Admission:

I got admission through CAP Round as directed by AICTE and DTE, the process is of 3 rounds until you choose a college and finalize it. Admission dates for FE students start from around May-June period as college opens at around 15 July approx. And Students need to bring all documents attested and submit the original 10th- 12th documents in the college and after completing the graduation. He/She can collect the originals from the college after collecting LC from the college.
