Remarks :

It is, overall, a great college. It has excellent faculty to student ratio. The campus is big, and it's not very crowded. Everyone knows everybody. Everyone celebrates together when the festivals come. And finally we are placed, so it been a great experience.

Course Curriculum Overview :

In the core course, all the important topics are made compulsory, which everyone should know. And there are also many electives from which you can choose based on your interest. I think the topics are very interesting.

Placement Experience :

Our placement cell is very active and always pushing the limits, most of my friends are already placed, so I'll say our college provides a great opportunity. Our college doesn't have any official internship program, but they help us in every way to get one.

College Events :

Our college has a vibrant festival culture, as students here come from very diverse cultures. Every year we have Cultural Fest, Technical Fest and Sports Fest. Other than these we also have small events every month just for the college students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Our college is government-funded, so the fees are very reasonable. Every middle-class family can afford it. It also provides many merit-based scholarships to help the students. And the hostel fees is almost nothing.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our college has multiple scholarships. One is based on entrance exam based. Other is based on merit, how you perform in the college. And the last one has based on your families monthly income. Also, it has some nice loan offered by SBI.

Campus Life :

We have open lab 24x7, and anyone can go and work anytime. We also have all kind of sports activities. We have all the courts, equipment and coaches from training. We also have a gym in our hostel itself.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, I have opted for a hostel. Our college has just moved into our new campus, and it is amazing. The infrastructure is world-class. Everything is new and very maintained. We get all the facilities required in the hostel.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

We have lots of alumni in different locations. We often come and visit us. They guide us and also come for placement with their companies. They are accommodating. They are easily approachable whenever we need them.

Admission :

After my 12th, I appeared in IIT-JEE in which multiple-choice questions are asked. Main subjects required are physics, chemistry and maths. First I cleared JEE Mains then I cleared JEE Advance and based on my rank, and I got admission.

Faculty :

In my college, there is an outstanding faculty to student ratio. It is easy to connect with them. Most of them are young enough to understand our problem and experienced enough to give a great learning experience.

The best out of best about iit ropar

Placement Experience:

From the third semester students become eligible for the placement like internships and main placements start at fourth year. companies like Wipro, HCl , Zomato, swiggy, Google, etc many companies visit our college and many offer have been made to the students. In the last year the highest package was 86 lakhs offered and average package over all branches was 22 lakhs per annum.and the last year almost 76 Percent of the applied students have got placed and my plans after getting the degree is to do a good job in a very big mnc

Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester, students become eligible for the campus internships offered by companies, that provide placements after completion of the course. In the 7th semester students who have the skills, got placed in companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, TCS Ninja, etc The highest package offered in our university is 13.50 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA. About 80% of the students got placed last year in our university. My senior told me how he got placed in TCS private limited company and assured me that I will get placed too.

Almost everything you need to know before joining about Gulzar Group of Institutes

Placement Experience:

Here the placements are fine but it also depends on students too as you can start internship from 2nd year but there is attendance issue for that you need to contact to your respective HOD's. The placements start from I think the 6th sem I am not sure but maybe or 7th but many good companies come to campus but students can also apply off campus companies too. Some company's names are listed as I know:- Amazon,Paytm,Godrej, Tech Mahindra, HCl, Wipro, etc. I am not sure about the highest and lowest package but I think the Highest package is 4 to 5 lakh . The overall percentage of students getting placed is 80% to 85% according to me. My plan is too first get the internship till 4th to 5th sem and then will sit in placements or apply for off campus if didn't got satisfied with the companies that came after I will get the job and for few years will do the job until I get I want and then I will plan about something as I want to get.

Placement Experience:

See like in final year here everyone goes into placements. And it's not up to mark because here if your in CSE IT or ECE you get placed at3-3.5 lakh per annum .but opportunities have raised in recent years production engineering student got a placement of 15 lakhs per annum and this year Flipkart arrived and gave a placement of 13lakhs last year Samsung have a placement of 12 lakhs byjus gave 10 lakhs placement. if you are in core and want to get hired for tech companies then you need to take notes courses and learn to code. And almost 70-80% students get placed but if the placement is low then it's of no use if you're re in civil or mechanical engineering then you may find the gate results are fair enough for a college. Civil and mechanical are the best branches in the college andy plan is to join Indian army after Engineering.

Remarks:

The college is really great. They have helped me a lot in making me a better person in my life.
