Remarks :

I love my college and each moment i spend there. I want to rejoin my college as a research scolar. I say and feel proud to say that I am student of IIT Bhubaneswar. I got a good platform in the path of creating my future.

Course Curriculum Overview :

M.Sc. is a step for being a research scolar. Some student become private tutor and earned well. There was another option to be professor after msc by qualifying net but by the rule of ugc 2018 without phd net is not validate for a job.

Placement Experience :

I was getting 1000 per month during MSc as stipend. Some of my friends got job in private sector in campus selction, some are in phd O am also going to join phd from any IIT. Yeah very few student are not setteld but by there earned education their future path are enlited.

College Events :

We celebrate freshers day for newcoming students, fairwell for going student, alma festa, imdependent day, republic day, scolar day, all the religians festival, hostel day, foundation day, comvocation etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure were not very high. First semester i have to pay like approximate 47000 and and second and forth semester like 27000 and third semster approximate 29000. Third semester we have to pay extra due to medical insurance renewal.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No, For M.Sc. there is no loan facility but for B.tech their will be one counter of bank who will help you about taking the loan and procedure. There is one S.N. Bose internship for two higher jam rank students.

Campus Life :

In project work we worked hard with guidance of our faculty, they motivate us for some productive research. Somtimes they organise open day means a full day for nearby students of schools and colleges so they can understand research institute work properly. There are some inter IIT compition of sprorts anually.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel price is like 8000 per semster and food charge is like rupees 110+5% gst. Now on IIT bhubaneswar all hostel are inside the campus so not need to worry about travel. They provide good foods and proper quality.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Our senior are helpful for understanding our topic or some new challenges. Alumani use to tell that what the problem we use to face after our college so we can prepare for the setuation. They motivate us.

Admission :

I qialified IIT jam 2016 exam with AIR 437. After that I have to submit our prefrence. By vacant seat and our IIT Jam rank they called us for admission. They asked each and every document should be completed with medical fitness certificate. But they gave time of 45 days to that students who were unable to present some document at the time of admission.

Faculty :

Faculty of this college is great and very frankly to student. They give proper time to student and also care for week students. They give assignments and ask for what question group of all student can not solve, by this all student communicate and save time of teachers too.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester only students can contact in the placement cell for placement details and good companies come to hire students but due to lot of B.Tech & M.Tech students, it's is quite competative. But it depends on an individual how they perform in the pre-selection tests of the placements.

NIT Rourkela journey

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements from first semester itself. But most of the companies demands for final year students. The average package was around 8-9 lpa . Almost 80% students got placement in my department. I will pursue PhD after the degree.

The memories in the university of nature

Course Curriculum Overview:

Love and curiosity towards living beings, how life beings, how it works, these questions influenced me to take my course. In real world, we definitely need to advance in the research of animal research, molecular biology, cancer biology, immunology to develop vaccination, medicines and to treat cancer using CAR-T cell therapy, the latest in India. Proper guidance and research laboratory is required to a successful career in it. Also the most important exam, CSIR-NET. You have to qualify JRF in order to pursue PhD and it is quite difficult. Only 1% of the total applicants get JRF. Competition is tough.

It was a real good experience to share my thoughts here

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm keenly interested in physics and I had heard about this institute that the teaching quality is very good here that's why I opted to study the course here. We have projects in the final year to make us intrested in future reasearch works and PhD. But apart from this we have a lengthy syllabus and in physics we have to give exams of 2 subjects per day and we have to give the exam of 8 subjects in 4 days,without any gap back to back This can be considered to change.

The course of study are arranged keeping an eye on the CSIR NET and GATE syllabus so relevant topic were there which helps students during national level exams. Semester exam is conducted in every 5 months and the exam is not that tough. The department gives enough time to prepare for own own goals. Teachers need to improve their way of teaching.
