  • There are many empty places inside the campus which can be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Apart from academic year studies, many seminars, webinars and conference are held all around the year. Each department contribute equally to organise a successful event. Career counseling classes are also included in the timetable.

Internships Opportunities :

Since I'm from botany course, there aren't any internship programs. But mba and mca like technical courses many internship programs available throughout the year. Last year during summer many students have attended internships and have reviewed very good results.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The admission fees varies from subject to subject and also candidates. Since all the admission procedure is done through CPET entrance examination. The fee structure is around 8000 for botany and science subjects. Government of Odisha provides many scholarships to help students. Currently, there are not any scholarship providing by the university.

Campus Life :

The annual cultural event is celebrated every year around January month. The library of this university is very large, it has two buildings, one for books and one for studying. Air conditioning is also available in the library. Overall, all facilities are upto the mark.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rent is around 10k per year. For first year students, one room is given to three students. Beds, tables and chair are also provided, wifi, chill water and television and gym is also available. Almost all the students who have applied for hostel got rooms. We have eight boys hostel and 6 girls hostel. In second year each student gets one room. Food quality is average, but it's healthy compared to hotel food

Admission :

The admission procedure is fully based on the CPET PG entrance examination. The cut-off also varies from subject to subject. For the botany cutoff mark it was 73 from 100 for first-round selection. The selection went upto 5th round and the last cut-off was 69. Reservation is also available for backward classes and science st students.

Faculty :

Each department have atleast 5 assistant professor and they have professors and guest faculty teachers. Their co operation with students is amazing. They are mostly available for students. The faculty are very much helpful too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courseware is supposed to have a practical approach but somehow it's the opposite. In india especially when you're doing masters in science the courseware should include the syllabus of CSIR NET but it didn't. the subjects weren't that of use. The faculties too had little idea about what they're teaching. And the skill courses which is supposed to boost your cv somehow doesn't. Rather they're a burden to your College days.

Students can apply for campus placements from first semester itself. But most of the companies demands for final year students. The average package was around 8-9 lpa . Almost 80% students got placement in my department. I will pursue PhD after the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Love and curiosity towards living beings, how life beings, how it works, these questions influenced me to take my course. In real world, we definitely need to advance in the research of animal research, molecular biology, cancer biology, immunology to develop vaccination, medicines and to treat cancer using CAR-T cell therapy, the latest in India. Proper guidance and research laboratory is required to a successful career in it. Also the most important exam, CSIR-NET. You have to qualify JRF in order to pursue PhD and it is quite difficult. Only 1% of the total applicants get JRF. Competition is tough.
