Remarks :

The weather in Allahabad is bad. Gets too hot and humid. The schedule gets tight for the freshman batch's as they have to get involved in academic as well as extra curricular activities. The ragging culture is no more, although it's was not harmful at any point before it was sort of a culture, but no more due to some stupid seniors and juniors.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Majorly IT oriented, a bit of communication skills development courses and mathematics is also covered. Exam structure is like 1 quiz, mid semester, 1 quiz , end semester from 3rd year onwards there is semester project as well for which you have to select a professor as a mentor.

Placement Experience :

The job opportunities are the main outline of this college. If you are average student you would get 13-14 Lakh per annum job easily, and if it's a good day, you can grab more than 20 lakh. A lot of companies visit campus. Almost all the tech Giants eg. Flipkart, Amazon, Goldman Sachs. Even directi, CodeNation. This year google hired 6 from our college for SDE roles.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is not that expensive, in past 2 years it has increased but still feasible comparing to other colleges. It's about 1,20,000. It was 76000 earlier in 2016 when I joined. The facilities are ample with free internet also.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The scholarship is provided to students who score 9 cgpa in the 1st year. It's near about 18,000 for every year, if you maintain that cgpa criteria.other than these all the schemes by the MHRD are well taken care of by the colleges as well. There's a special cell for this.

Campus Life :

There are more than 1000 working systems in the college. There is a high computing lab in the college for deep learning, data mining and high you requirements jobs. 6 different cultural clubs, a sports club, a tech club with 5-6 wings.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel are basic, the bathrooms are cleaned regularly. The water coolers are problem many a time.Every hostel has around 400-450 students. Badminton court in every hostel. Inside campus squash court, tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court, football ground along with athletics and cricket.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni base is strong if you want to get a referral. In other aspects it's not that great. No one looks after it from the adminstration. So rarely any contact is there between college and it's almuni.

Admission :

You have to apply for JEE Exam, get enough rank, apply for a list of colleges as per your preference, then based on merit list of various colleges you get you highest preference based on the merit list of the college.

Faculty :

Not the best you would see, but that's how it is in most of the colleges, some of them are very great. Other than these, seniors help out enough. Semester projects are not taken seriously enough by them which is sad.

Reality of SRGI

Placement Experience:

3rd and 4th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like vipro ,TCS, Microsoft, asensure have visited my college, great offers are also given by them. Highest package would be around 6LPA and average is around 4LPA. Only 3% students get placement from campus placement. I will go for off campus placement and hit a well paying job .

Syllabus and all curriculum are according to AKTU . But one problem is there while reading only syllabus of your semester examination your preparation for placement is zero because for placement you have to do lots of stuff

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is good as the average amount of placement is 5Lakhs nad the maximum amount is 50Lakhs. All students are allowed to sit in placement. There are many companies visit in our institute that is Zscalar, Wipro, Microsoft, AWS etc.

Rajkiya Engineering College Kannauj, it's okay in there

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted cse that's why I opted for it. Faculties are enough as per students ratio. Faculties are finely educated themselves, I will say some Faculties teaching methods are good as they teach basics properly but few of them are like they will teach you supposing you have already some idea about topic, but overall they are supportive and help with any query. 2 CT's and a final sem exam in a sem, you can pass CT by studying over night But you have to study a little more for finals

Remarks:

Our college provides us with a number of activities to develop more skills in respective subjects. There are so many technical club activities which have been started as per student's interest.
