Entrance Preview :

I have gone through WBJEE. I got a rank 2406. I chosed this college becouse it is one of the oldest college in west bengal. Study environment is so good .Teachers as well as students are very down to earth.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum was excellent. Courses are very professional. The Campus is having six department. Three core department and three software department Mechanical Engineering,Electrical Engineering,Civil Engineering,Computer Science Engineering,Information Technology and Electronics and communication engineering. The students are very much secure in there prospective field because they are having very good guidance of teachers.

Internships Opportunities :

College provides many internship programme.The college is associated with many multinational companies as well as many private sector company who provide internship to the student. Like SAIL,Indian Railway,Gammon,L&T,SPCL,CTS,TCS,DVC,BEL,BHEL,WBPDCL,SEDCL,and many more .College offer full free ship stipned to the needy students.Many scholarship stipend offered by the alumini association.

Placement Experience :

There is 100 % placement offer by the college. Job opportunities are good.Many public and government companies visit college to give placement.But students need to conscious for his/her studies.Many software as well as core company visit our college for giving placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Full freeship offerd by the college for needy student.Many scholarship programme run by the state as well as central government.The good thing in this college isevery needy student get scholarship in any form.Many students get loan very easily from govt as well as pvt banks.

Campus Life :

Campus is having lots of scope for extra curricular activities.Labs are well equipped.There are five sports ground.One stadium that is called oval.There are 21 different clubs to grome extracurricular activities.Center for innovation club is for technical hobbies.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni association is so strong and very helpful.Every passed out students is very much close to college as well as students. many companies come in our college because interest of ex students.Seniors are very helpful and well mannered.

Exam Structure :

Exam conducted by our university.Each Year having two semesters odd semester and even semester. Odd semester held in the month of june and even semester held in the month of december.

Faculty :

Faculty are well qualified.Every teachers have done there masters in there field.And most of the teachers also done phd.Head of the departments are well experienced.The intensity of teachers to teach is very honest and hard working.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Placement Experience:

Placements of an IIT are always great. It is the first destination of some multi-national companies for recruitment. Our previous batch observed 1600 placement offers being made to the students including 35 international offers. Highest CTC went to Rs. 2.4 CPA. Sectors like software, Analytics, Consulting, Core Analytics, banking, finance made job offers. Barclay, Goldman Sachs, Honeywell, Microsoft, MasterCard, Dr. Reddy, Tata Steel, and many such others participated in the week.

GATE, For computer science in PG course you have to opt min 500 score approximate for general category. Admission process is pretty simple science CCMT comes.

Admission:

I took this college in the NSR the last round, my score is 557 GEN, i am looking better college, but unfortunately in NSR round general seats are not vacant in many respectful colleges. You just fill the the CCMT account and whole process is online so you do not have to go anywhere for filling form.In that form you to fill the all eligible colleges and branches in the priority-wise. You can also checks the previous years cut-off marks for any colleges, based on that you can fill the choices. After that they notify some tentative dates for 1 st round counselling. If you got any college then you have to go for registered college for verification either you want to take that college or cancel that. You can wait for other rounds for better colleges .
