The most popular and advised option for graduates of Ceramic Engineering pursuing admission to M.Tech/M.E. programmes in core or related subjects is GATE Engineering Sciences (XE).

Utilising the XE score, graduates of Ceramic Engineering can apply for M.Tech programmes in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or related subjects at numerous universities and IITs.

Ceramic engineering-related subjects from the XE Syllabus include materials science, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, solid mechanics, polymer science, and more.
