IIT Madras has opened GATE 2027 late fee registration till October 12 2026. Candidates must pay Rs 500 extra over the regular fee and complete DigiLocker verification to apply at gate2027.iitm.ac.in.

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has opened Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027 late fee registration. Candidates can apply at the official portal gate2027.iitm.ac.in. The late fee application window closes on October 12, 2026.
The regular registration deadline ended on October 5, 2026. Candidates who missed that window must now pay a surcharge. The additional late fee is Rs 500 per application.
GATE 2027 will be conducted jointly by IIT Madras and IISc Bangalore. The exam will take place across three weekends in February 2027. Candidates can appear in up to two of the 30 test papers.

Who Is Eligible for GATE 2027?

What Is New in GATE 2027?
