HP AYUSH UG Round 2 Counselling 2026 Begins; Check Registration Last Date

The Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU), Mandi, has released the Himachal Pradesh AYUSH Undergraduate (HP AYUSH UG) Round 2 Counselling 2026 schedule. The notification is available on the official website at amruhp.ac.in. Online registration for the second round opens today, October 6, 2026. The counselling covers Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) seats for the 2026-27 academic session.

The round is open to candidates who have qualified the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026. AMRU conducts the counselling for state quota and all-India quota seats in participating government and private colleges across Himachal Pradesh. HP AYUSH UG Round 2 Counselling 2026 Key Details

The second round is open to fresh candidates and to those who did not get a seat in Round 1. Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 but did not join can also take part. The round applies to both government and private AYUSH colleges linked to AMRU.

HP AYUSH Counselling 2026 Registration Fee Structure

Fresh candidates registering for Round 2 must pay the non-refundable counselling fee. From the second round onward, a refundable security amount is also charged.

How to Register for HP AYUSH UG Round 2 Counselling 2026?

Candidates must complete the online registration through the AMRU portal within the stated window. The steps below outline the standard process.

• Visit the official website at amruhp.ac.in.
• Open the Admission menu and select Apply for Admission and Counselling.
• Choose the BAMS or BHMS Counselling 2026-27 link.
• Register using NEET UG 2026 roll number and personal details.
• Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
• Pay the counselling fee and Round 2 security amount online.
• Submit the application and download the confirmation page.

Who Is Eligible to Apply for HP AYUSH 2026 Counselling?

Only candidates who have cleared NEET UG 2026 can take part. The qualifying percentile and age rules are set by the Ministry of AYUSH and AMRU.

• Minimum NEET UG 2026 percentile of 50 for General candidates.
• Minimum NEET UG 2026 percentile of 40 for SC, ST and OBC candidates.
• Minimum NEET UG 2026 percentile of 45 for General PwD candidates.
• Candidate must complete 17 years of age by December 31, 2026.
• Domicile of Himachal Pradesh is required for state quota seats.

HP AYUSH 2026 Seat Reservation Pattern

AMRU allots BAMS and BHMS seats under two broad quotas. The split applies across participating colleges in the state.

• State Quota: 85 percent of total seats.
• All India Quota: 15 percent of total seats.
