Who Is Eligible to Apply?

LMTSM PhD Admission 2027 Key Details

What Is the Selection Process?

The selection process has two stages. Candidates are required to appear for the LMTSM PhD Entrance Test, followed by a personal interview for shortlisted applicants.

Candidates with a valid UGC NET or CAT score may be eligible for entrance-test exemption. Candidates without a valid qualifying score have to appear for the Thapar Management Aptitude Test. The test is conducted on the interview day and has a duration of 60 minutes.

Candidates need at least 50 percent in the combined evaluation to qualify. The qualifying requirement is relaxed to 45 percent for SC and ST candidates. Final admission offers are based on overall merit in the entrance test and interview.
