What is your philosophy of leadership?

“Democratic, transformational and coaching style of leadership”

As a leader, I feel obliged to guide my team members and students constructively. I would like to lead by example and then guide others during the execution of the tasks. Providing the underlying motivation to the students is essential for me.

How do you strategize plans for the marketing of your school?

“Outreach programs and awareness campaigns in junior-level colleges”

Ours is a rural engineering college, intending to make sure that conceptual knowledge is built strongly among the students. For marketing, we try to reach out to all intermediate colleges and explain how our college is progressing. Our infrastructure and excellent facilities are explained to aspiring students. We also reach out to students through phone calls and SMS.

What can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute?

“Value-added skill-based courses with site visits for practical learning”

We believe that our education system needs to be reformed drastically. Over the years, changes have been introduced in the Indian education system towards imparting practical and research education among the students. Within the scope of management, we are trying to impart this type of learning. We organize regular site visits for the engineering students and motivate them to implement theory concepts into practical projects.

What do you think should be the college’s top priority over the next 10 years?

The top priority for the college is to become an autonomous institute”

We aim to achieve the status of an autonomous institute in the coming years. Our students need to prepare for the ever-changing job industry and also become socially aware individuals. All our efforts are directed in this direction for the future.

What do you see as the college’s greatest strengths?

“A strong management and presence of highly qualified faculty members”

Our strength is our faculty because all of them are very dedicated to their operations. Also, the backing of the management is an advantageous factor for us. We have complete freedom from our management to do anything and everything for the betterment and development of the students.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see for the education sector?

“Migration of talent from India to other foreign countries in pursuit of better education”

One of the biggest challenges that the education system in India is facing is that people are migrating to foreign countries. Earlier, the students only went to foreign institutes for Post Graduation. In the past 4-5 years, students are moving to foreign countries for Under graduation as well. This is not a positive sign for the education sector of the country. We need to develop our Indian education system in such a way that it becomes flexible for the students.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the aspiring students?

“Be focused and dedicated towards education during academic life”

Students need to fully utilize their academic period and work hard to fulfill their dreams. They can easily lead a prosperous life after the initial struggle. Every student should have a clear focus on learning during these important years so that their future is built strongly.
