Dr. K. Bhargavi is the Head of the CSE Department at P.V.K.K Institute Of Technology. She holds a Ph.D. in Cloud Computing from JNTU College Of Engineering. He has over 12 years of teaching experience. She has represented the CSE Department during the NBA Visit at PVKK. She has received the “International Teaching Excellence Award 2021 by I2OR. She has published 17 journals at the national and international level and has attended 23 workshops.

What are the factors that make this program the best for the students to opt for?

Computer Science and Engineering skills are in high demand in the job market. Being a HOD of the college, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

My roles and responsibilities include ensuring student activities and student organizations receive adequate supervision and Responding to student grievances and requests. To enable the students to receive skilled education in the subject, in a positive, encouraging, and effective working environment.

How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty? 

Supporting your colleagues’ work shows them that you care about their interests and are willing to show up when they need you. 

What are the best practices offered by the department to the students that help them gain the necessary skills? 

We provide Hands on Workshops, Guest Lectures from Industry People. Other than curriculum we conduct Value-added and Add-on courses. Every year Industrial Summit is organized to have an interaction with HR’s of various Companies.

What are your views on the placements and higher education of the students from your department?

For the past two years, many students have preferred to do higher studies. We motivate them and provide extra coaching classes towards the same. We provide Communication and Aptitude classes as a part of CRT classes to students for competitive exams and settle in a good position in society. PVKKIT offers good placements to the students.

How does the program ensure that students are being prepared for the future?

Students are trained in these technologies in the form of theoretical concepts and practical experience. Students are equipped with a comprehensive understanding of cutting-edge technologies through a combination of theoretical concepts and hands-on practical experience.

How does the department/ college/ university enhance the skills of the faculty and prepare them according to industry standards? 

Conducting various FDPs, and workshops, making them complete certifications in upcoming thrust areas. Involve faculty in various seminars and webinars to help them improve their prospective teaching skills and help the students in teaching well by clarifying their doubts.

What valuable advice would you like to the students for them to have a prosperous career ahead? 

Be focused for the four years of course and be successful for your entire life. Nowadays it is full of competition, students must focus on skill development courses to sustain themselves in the competitive world and make a bright future. Focus on the goal to achieve high success in your career.
