Ans. While B Tech is a 4-year program, B Tech Lateral is a 3-year program. In the latter, a student may take admission to the 2nd year directly. To be eligible for this course, one has to be a diploma holder and pass the 10th standard board examination with at least 50% marks (or 45% marks, in case of SC/ ST candidates). To take admission to the B Tech program, one needs to pass 10+2 with at least 50% marks in the prescribed group subjects (relaxation of 10% in case of SC/ST candidates), and sit for the AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test).

I had reservation benefits based on my caste and apply for scholarships provided by the government. Coming to my admission process, I submitted all the documents & filled out my joining form with all my details. Now Vemu institute of technology had a reach they improved all the possibilities including the admission process in an easy manner.

I joined through management quota because I didn't wrote polytechnic entrance exam. The eligibility of the course is you should have completed 10th or 12th & to join through convener quota you need to pass the polytechnic entrance exam with good rank.
