Dr. Anand Nighojkar is Principal of Maharaja Ranjit Singh College of Professional Sciences, Indore. He did his Ph.D. in 1995 in Biotechnology from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore.He has been involved in the teaching learning process now for over 25 years. He has actively been contributing to development of the subject at undergraduate and postgraduate level by participating as University Academic Council Member and Member Board of Studies. In his interview he mentions the importance of passion and motivation and how the institute strategizes to instill confidence in the students. He goes on to highlight the value added education that the institute provides, which is of global standards. He says that the zeal of the students is to build a sparkling career and at the same time live life with full enthusiasm. He moves further and mentions how today’s youth is equipped with technology and can multitask. On the other hand he advises students to make their own decision based on sound facts and logic. This will help them grow and develop in a better human being.

I joined the college in 1995 when a batch of 43 students was studying in second year of B.Sc. I had just completed my Ph.D. in Biotechnology and had started my dream career as a Professor: A Nation Builder. The college has since grown to 23 courses offering degrees like PG in MBA, MCA, M.Com., M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, along with UG in BA, B.Com., B.Sc., BCA and BBA in various combination of Professional subjects. The college strength is over 2000 students. Our College vision is “Impart value added education of global standards to help the students work for competitive excellence and financial freedom”. We are as committed to move on this path as ever.
