The objective of establishing this center is to create a global platform to collect Indian-related knowledge. Apart from this, the immediate and fundamental issues facing India have to be resolved through which the establishment of this center will promote and protect Indian culture. The centre was inaugurated by retired IAS Deepak Singhal, former Chief Secretary of the Government of Uttar Pradesh; Padma Bhushan Prof. Kapil Kapoor, former Professor of Centre for Linguistic & English (Jawaharlal Nehru University); Prof. Jagbir Singh, Chancellor of Central University of Punjab (Bathinda); Prof. Heeraman Tiwari, Dean of Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management & Entrepreneurship and Pro-Chancellor of Sharda University YK Gupta.

Padma Bhushan Prof. Kapil Kapoor said that it is important to be proud of the heritage. According to the new education policy, teaching has to be done in one's own language. But the current situation is that we teach about the country and abroad but do not teach about our own culture. We have to pass on our knowledge to our children. Just make the policy and forget it and this is what has been happening but now the time has come to work on it. Knowledge comes back but never disappears. To change our mentality, we should preserve our heritage.

While addressing, Pro-Chancellor of Sharda University YK Gupta said that today is a day of great pride for the entire Sharda Group, that we are starting this important work from Sharda. This center first started in Sharda University. It is the responsibility of every school and university of the society to pay special attention to Indian culture and make good students aware of it. In the coming times, young students are the leaders of the country and they will get the feeling of doing something for the country through the Bharatiya Sanskriti Vaishvik Kendra. Sharda University will also provide exposure to the students to Indian culture along with all its courses.

Retired IAS Deepak Singhal said Bharatiya Sanskriti Vaishvik Kendra will be successful only when speeches are not given but actual work is done for results. This can be taken as the best startup in the world. Sharda University has done a great job by contributing in this field.
