What are the factors that make this program the best for the students to opt for?

So generally you can see as per the electrical engineering student, so opportunities are there in the industry. Just like you can see whatever the power is required for electrical engineering, it is a primary source in order to switch on the supplies, industries, companies, everything related to that is the power only. So, based on that I can say the electrical branch is evergreen.

What are the best practices in the program you are doing?

Program in the sense as per the electrical engineering student, they have to know that it is practical-oriented. Whatever we teach in the class, is completely practical. So, just as an example you can see there are a number of plants there. It may be renewable as well as non-renewable energy sources that should be matched with the curriculum. So, that is the class as well as industry.

How does the program ensure the best for the students for being prepared for the future?

Future in the sense you can see the present scenario, what is going on in the industry. So, based on the industry, they have to prepare themselves. So, based on that you can give the guidance, which way is the best, which way is the wrong way. Based on that they have to build their career. You can give guidance. What opportunities are there for the electrical engineer, which way is best. If it will be core or software. So, based on that you can guide the students.

How do you tend to build an industry connected with the program?

Same gist I told you. As per the curriculum, whatever they learn, that should be matched with industry. Whatever they learn in the four years course, based on that, that should be useful in the industry in the form of practical. So, just we are explaining the theoretical, that should be related to practical. Whether they have reached the industry or not. Based on that you can give guidance, how to reach the industry. So, based on that each and every moment, you can motivate and you can monitor the student, who can reach the industry. That is in the form of theoretical as well as practical.

What were the challenges that you faced while inculcating this program in your curriculum?

Yeah, sure sir. So, here most of them you can see in this place. Most of them came from a rural background. So, based on what I face here, they had to know the concept in the form of each and every moment. You had to explain clearly. So, they came from the rural area. So, based on the rural area, as per the knowledge, as per the frequency, they are facing a number of problems, which should be reached to the students. Because, most of them came from the rural area. They don't have proper knowledge. They don't know proper communication. They don't know the proper subject. Little, some of the students. So, based on that, you have to take it as a responsibility. It should be made in the form of perfect manner, whenever he joins the industry, communication as well as the English, as well as the subject. You can maintain it in a very good position in society. I can face the challenges.

What are the types of projects the students are working on this program?

Projects in the sense, there are two types of projects. One is for the program manner, as well as the kit model. So, program in the sense, they will take as a one paper. It is in the form of an IEEE paper. So, based on that IEEE paper, they will see that they will write the program. There is a proposed system there. In that proposed system, what are the drawbacks from earlier? Now, what are the overcomes we are doing for the proposed system? So, based on that, one is for paper oriented, as well as another model also there. Last year, we prepared a kit model, which is a solar car. So, based on the solar car, not only solar cars, you can see prototype models and then electric vehicles and different wind plants. A number are there in order to run the, that is a different model in the form of program, as well as kit base.

What do you think of your roles and responsibilities as a HOD?

You can see how much the student should have achieved. Whenever they join the college, how much knowledge is there? And then after completion of BTEC, how much knowledge are we giving to the students? And then, if the student is absent, we can make a call, we can monitor the student. And then, we can conduct the meets and then slip tests and exams. And each and every moment, we can make the student the best.
