Campus Life:

There is a student welfate club which conducts events/quizzes /hackathons and cultural events in different categories. The festivals data will be provided on the academic calendar. There are lot of books that are available in library abd and can be accessed to take them home. The college will give priority to the sports and help them to participate in lot of events / state games/national games

Placement Experience:

The placements are so good after first semester based on the CGPA the companies will start recruiting in second semester. The highest package is 36LPA(including all benefits from company) and the average package is around 13 LPA. Some companies will ask above 60% and some will ask above 70%, 75% etc its based on the company

Campus Life:

The social life at the university is excellent. Various fests are concluded over the year, mostly of young entrepreneurs of the valley. These events are mostly held during the summer. Also, many cultural events with young stars are also held. There are separate libraries for each department and there is also the Allama iqbal library, the biggest in kashmir, which is open 24/7 for all students. The libraries have books related to the courses. The classroom has whiteboard along with projector. Different types of inter and intra-department activities are held throughout the whole year like different sport matches, seminars, debates etc. As per my knowledge, some groups according to shared interests are formed but by students only like iot club.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee is good, with the even semester having almost 43000 fee and the odd ones having 30000 fee. The fee is hiked accordingly, but not by much amount. Various scholarships are provided, but mostly to the low income section of the society. Some examples are like the minority scholarship, indira gandhi scholarship for single girl child and others. There is special department for job assistance I. e center for acreer counselling and placement, that hosts jobs from various companies within and outside the state.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this because I love embedded systems and codings. Another point to choose is this because I want to be an ethical hacker. as I mentioned class size so faculty: students ratio is 1:30. The teachers teaching method is like ll types including from textbook, presentation, practical. And let me clear all of the faculties have PhD degrees. So don't worry about the teaching staff. Exams are also taken at regular intervals.

Campus Life:

Rotary club is run by the student is the best social club on the campus. And there is an annual fest institute but as I am not much into fun activity so I am not so informative. Amenities of classrooms are spacious and well good furnished. Mess facility student activity corner and libraries have a good decent amount of equipment.

The placement is not a problem here as there are so many companies visiting the college offering a decent package to all the students including the ones who are pursuing diploma. Some of the companies that comes almost every year are Path Partner, Ignitarium Technology, ABB Ltd., Amar Raja Batteries, Accenture, Capgemini, Bhushan Steel.

Campus Life:

The field trips to the companies and providing industrial training are some facilities that are provided by the college to all the students. Aaprt from that, there are consultative services in certain departments that are also organized by the college.

The admission is done purely on the GATE scores and percentile. The graduate aptitude test for engineering is a national level test which aims to provide admission to the Engineering colleges for MTech course. The cutoff for the college is not very high. You can easily get through the college with basic level education.

Our college has a placement cell, which provides placement assistance to students. The previous students are placed in companies such as TI, Intel, analog devices, Qualcomm etc.our college have internship recourses as well. Duration of internship is 1/2/3/4 weeks. You need to pay a fee for internship for one-week internship fee is Rs2000.

Remarks:

Taking M.tech from NIELIT Calicut in the embedded system was one of the favourable outcomes in my life. The curriculum is here designed in such a way that students are offered lab experience. The multicultural atmosphere and diversity keep the campus exciting, fun and vibrant.

Exam Structure:

The exam pattern is like we will have a cat1 which we will write for 50 marks but it will get reduced to 15 and similarly the cat 2 but it's an open book exam. Here the point is u have a relative grading depending on the whole class. And the questions that we get are completely application-based and we need to put our brain. But it's good it will tell how much we understood the concept.

College Events:

There are hell amount of events celebrated in the college. It's a place where u can explore ur talents. We have so many clubs like dance, music, drama, art, event management, musical Banda, etc, and coming to technical events we have a techno vit and so many hackathons are conducted and the main cultural events that will take place is vibrance which is completely fun.

Ans. Generally, in the electrical branch, almost 80-90% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 1 CPA . The lowest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Jane Street, Google, and Microsoft. Almost 60% of students got internships in P&G and Dr. Reddy Laboratory. The top roles offered are engineer in petroleum industries and analyst in pharmaceuticals. However, Power Systems and Power Electronics branch has its own shortcomings. Although most companies of EE allow Power students to sit for placements, if they lack knowledge of ECE subjects of GATE, they cannot clear the written test  You will have limited options unless you are proficient in VLSI. Interviewers may not consider you if you haven’t done VLSI courses Core companies of Power Electronics hardly visit the campus. Those that do visit, either require a high cutoff like 9 CGPA like Enphase Systems or offer a package lower than 8 LPA. So what is the solution to getting better packages as a student of Power Systems and Power Electronics? Well, you have two options  Either, do some VLSI courses offered at IIT Madras itself. This will get you a good package from top companies like Intel and AMD. Or become proficient in coding These two ways can save you from getting a below-average package. I can only offer you an insight, the test depends on your perception of the same. The faculty of the Electrical Department of IIT Jodhpur is highly learned and experienced in their respective fields The electrical department has well-equipped laboratories and modern equipment and systems required for research work. The placement scenario is decent and the highest CTC ranges from 12-15 LPA. A few recruiters who visited in the past to recruit students were INTEL, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, KEC International Ltd., and Vehicles Ltd. Most of the packages offered by these companies were below 10 LPA.  IIT Jodhpur has recently shifted to a new campus so its infrastructure and campus facilities have improved. Most companies visit NIT Calicut to recruit BTech students and they are given preference to MTech students. A few exceptional cases get placed in huge firms though. The faculty pool is very small and the most highly regarded professor of the branch is Dr Ashok S. The branch has excellent lab facilities and is therefore a great choice for research enthusiasts.
