The fees required for 1st semester is 4700 which is fixed.Nothing extra fees required for further expenses for academic.Fees structure is same for everyone.Hostel is not available in school compound. So We have to stay either in PG or rent which cost around 5000.As the fees required for 2nd semester is 1900 following for 3rd semester 4700 +4th semester 1900+5th semester 4700+6th sem1900.As it's new polytechnic so it doesn't have well organised campus and ground . Teacher are well Experienced and supporting. But all required workshop and material are not available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculties Are Mostly Less In Count According To The Student Ratio. Also It Needs A Specialist In Its Subject. Overall The Present Faculties Are Very Helpful And Supportive In All It's Ways. The I Think Shouldn't Taken, As It Will Not Be Positive For Everyone's View. But I Would Like To Mention About Our HOD Sir In Civil Branch From My Passing Year, He Is Not Within Us Now, RIP Sir. But The Student Wherever They Are, Only Because Of The Guidance Of Him. In That List I Thought Our Drawing Teacher At That Time, Is Also A Good Person By Heart But He Needs Some Professional Behaviours While Teaching, Because For His Behavioral Issue He Lost The Respect Which He Deserves. Exams Are Likely Two Semester And It's Two Internals For Each Semester For A Calendar Year. But The Exams And It's Questions Are Quite Good For Everyone. Mostly Students Clear The Exam Except The Below Average Ones.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

As It Is A Government Polytechnic College, So The Fees Structure Is Very Less. It Requires The Fees Only For The Semester Examination Charges And Along With That Yearly Charges Once. Added With That If Anything Necessary So That Includes A Very Smaller Amount. A Student Approximately Have To Spend An Amount Of INR 800 Yearly. Laboratory Or Other Facilities Are Available At No Charges. Except The General Caste Students, Those Who Comes Under The Minorities, They Will Get The Scholarship Along With The Removal Of Some Amount Of The Tution Fees.

Faculty:

The faculty to student ratio was around 30:70. In my personal experience, the relationship between the students and faculty is pretty good. The faculty was pretty helpful and supportive from the beginning during the classes and the projects and even during the exam time. I was from the Civil Department and my faculty was the best faculty between the three departments. Except my department, the Computer Science department was my second best department as because the professors of that department was very supportive and they were highly skilled in what they were doing. They were always kind and helpful to the students. The lab in the Computer Science department was very good compared to others. The department that I didnt prefer was the EEE department (Electrical engineering) because the building of the same was poorly maintained and the faculty was very less and the faculty comprised of old professers who were always irritated to help the students. The students of that department were always searching for help in their studies. So coming back to the exams, each semester had two internal tests followed by a viva test which was conducted by the faculty members of our institue and the faculty members of other institute. During the viva test, we had to submit all the lab copies and other projects to the following faculty members.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects of my cirriculum was very broad and very catogorised for each semester which helped us to focus on important matters very easily. The curriculum was similar to the B.Tech Degree because this program helps you to get the brief idea of the B.Tech degree. The program helped us to get the knowledge of the real world applications as because the program was soley devised to help us understand the diverse mechanisms used in the real world application of modern day construction. The areas where there can be some improvements is the revival of the labs and new machines. The exams is held in the last end of the semester where every test and viva test and projects will compile making it hectic to tackle.

The faculty to students ratio is good. The relationship between faculty and students are quite good. Faculty is very approachable. There is the survey teacher I like, the methods she use for teaching are quite good and easy to understand. There is 4 times exams taken by the college the session is semester wise per semester 2 exams we have to do mid semester and end semester. Exams are not that hard if you study well. The exam passing ratio is very good.

Campus Life:

Names of the annual and technical festivals are farewell party and they held it in the end of the year. The range of accessibility of books and journals available in the library is good. You can go and borrow any book you want to study. There are projectors in some classes, banches are good. But there are AC room is quite less the campus should notice that and fix this problem.

Dhemaji Polytechnic organises events like Freshers, General Election, College Week and Farewell every year. It also has a library with all the necessary books required for the course chosen by the students. Some classrooms are equipped with air conditioning and a smart board that helps the students attend classes in the scorching heat during summer. Sports is a major aspect in every college. Likewise, Dhemaji Polytechnic organises various sport and extracurricular activities during the College Week where students compete with each other while establishing a friendly and enjoyable moment. There is a Union Body in the college that overlooks the problems and the issues faced by the college and the students. This Union Body changes every year and new members are elected by the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Dhemaji Polytechnic has workshops and laboratories that prepares the students for real-world applications. The college offers 100% placement to the students, assuring them a job in the future. The faculties can improve in some specific areas such as switching from traditional teaching methods to smart boards on a daily basis where it would be easier for the professors to explain in a more elaborative method.

FITJEE says that they have awarded 100% fee waiver but its a trap, they don't mention that the waiver just applies to the tution fee and not the total fee. Even after 100% fee waiver you have to pay a hefty amount which they quote in the name of (infrastructure fee, convince fee, etc). This fee varies for different places and different year plans. They do this just to lure the students making them think that they have saved a lot of money, which they extract anyway. So many happy in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well brother,Fiitjee give 100% scholarship.I joined Fiitjee with 100% scholarship in 2017 for 2 year programme. The easiest way to get 100% scholarship is to appear in FTRE.If you are in top 90 percentile you will get 100% scholarship both in tuition and infrastructure fees. They give 100% scholarship if you are in 75 percentile in FTRE.(Fiitjee Talent Reward Exam) but only in tuition fees. There are other ways too but little tough like big bang test, admission test, through Olympiads…
