You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

I have worked in the field of education ever since I finished my post-graduation. My profession as an educator needs me to learn new skills and keep up with current trends in addition to instructing children. I establish a climate that will support entrepreneurship, innovation, and research to address societal issues. Our Pedagogical techniques include research, hybrid learning, entrepreneurship, analytics, the Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Blockchain course, and more, all aimed at ensuring that our students possess the skills to become global industry managers and leaders.

Being the HOD of West Godavari Institute ofSciences and Engineering what is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

Since openness and communication, in my opinion, create a positive, diverse work environment, establish trust, and promote effective teamwork—all of which are critical to the team's success—I base my leadership style on these attributes.My goal is to create a cohesive, high-achieving team by allocating tasks to the right people and providing them with the support they require. In addition, I lead by treating everyone with respect and dignity and by acting and making choices in a way that is open, equitable, honest, and accountable with the employees of my department.

The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute?

India is a popular study destination for students because of its rich history of creativity and research.College instructional strategies are created to help students develop their capacity for rational and analytical thought.Most engineering institutions host alumni events, conferences with subject matter experts, and business executive visits on a regular basis. An additional benefit to Indian higher education's great quality is its widely acknowledged cost-effectiveness. Our college uses both conventional education techniques and contemporary technology to enhance learning. In India, students can pursue a 360-degree education that combines classroom instruction with extracurricular activities such as annual festivals, inter-college competitions, and walks through the city's history organized by the students themselves. Ultimately, it promotes growth on the personal and academic levels.

In terms of students, perspective shifting is a vital talent. They need to overcome the challenges, quickly adapt, and re-skill instead of upskill. Students must develop rapid adaptability skills in light of current trends in order to handle shock events in the future or changes such as COVID-19.
