Check MRITS

Malla Reddy Institute of Technology and Science

You have held key positions in your 16+ years of experience, what are the special practices at the MRITS that you observed and would like to highlight?

The practices I observed in MRITS are communicating high expectations and good interaction between staff and students. The college also encourages active learning with advanced teaching tools. Giving prompt feedback to staff and students. The institute emphasizes the given tasks on time with total quality management.

Technology is going through a lot of dynamic changes these days. As the HOD, what strategies do you employ to stay current with the latest trends and advancements in both engineering and humanities education?

For any society to progress there must exist a balance between their analytical and philosophical entities. As engineers are responsible for finding scientific and realistic solutions to problems, they must be guided by the principles of humanities to make conscious decisions. Studying humanities helps engineers balance Science with societal well-being to make better decisions in their industry.

What are the current challenges in the field of Humanities and Science domain in general, and how do you plan to address them as a HOD?

As a HOD, I think the current biggest challenges in the field of Humanities and Science’s domain, in general, are communication, conflict, and financial issues. To resolve these issues I concentrate on the loopholes, maintain better rapport with the staff and students, and take the issues to the higher authorities for immediate solutions.

How do you collaborate with industries and other academic institutions to provide practical exposure and internships for your students?

I suggest smooth relations with other institutions by managing differences and conflicts in culture, vision, and expectations as well as balancing the autonomy and accountability of the other institutions. Languages and Good platforms should be maintained to provide practical exposure and internships for the students.
