SRMJEE Counselling 2024: SRMIST has declared the SRMJEEE 2024 seat allotment result for phase 2 on July 6, 2024. The authority has updated the link for SRMJEEE 2024 phase 2 seat allotment result on the official website – srmist.edu. To secure their allocated seats, candidates must complete the fee payment by July 10th. The SRMJEEE Phase 2 counselling registration last date was July 2, 2024.
- SRMJEEE 2024 results for Phase 2 exams has been released on June 29, 2024.
- SRMIST also sent result details to students via email.
- Only students who are qualified for the exam are eligible for admission to different campuses of SRMIST, subject to meeting other eligibility criteria.
- Candidates must submit their preferred SRM campuses and programs during this period.
The rank needed for KTR campus CSE branch is up to 2000, ECE branch is up to 10,000, while for IT branch is up to 5,000. Rank for other campuses in CSE branch is up to 9000, ECE is up to 19,000, and IT is up to 12,000.
SRMJEEE Counselling 2024 will be held seperately after each phase of the SRMJEEE exam. SRMJEEE 2024 counselling process consists of choice filling, seat acceptance, issue of Provisional Admission Letter, and paying the tuition fee. You must appear in the SRMJEEE counselling 2024 with the documents required for verification.

SRMJEEE 2024 Counselling
- SRMIST released the SRMJEEE 2024 Phase 2 Seat Allotment Round 2 result on July 6, 2024.
- SRMJEEE 2024 Counselling will be conducted online on the official website at srmist.edu.in.
- Applicants will have to pay the full fees to complete the admission process till July 10, 2024.
SRMJEEE 2024 Counselling Procedure
Candidates who qualify for SRMJEEE 2024 and have their names on the merit list will only be allowed to participate in SRMJEEE 2024 counselling. Verification of documents will also be done by the authorities during the counselling process.
SRMJEEE 2024 counselling steps:
- Step 1 (Login to the portal): Candidates need to visit the official website log in to the application portal and go to the admission portal.
- Step 2 (Rank Card download): Candidates can now download SRMJEEE 2024 Rank card.
- Step 3 (Education detail filling): In this step candidates need to fill in their educational details.
- Step 4 (Choice Filling): The Online Admission Portal will be kept open for the candidates to fill the choice of campus and programme preference in January 2024.
- Step 5 (Program allocation): The admission authority will allow the choice of campus, programme and specialisation based on the admission criteria such as SRMJEEE 2024 Rank, Qualifying Examination, etc. The Programs allotment will be published in the online admission portal.
- Step 6 (Accept the allocation and payment): Candidates have to accept the allotment and have to pay the one time non-refundable and non-transferrable registration fee and the counselling fee (part of tuition fee). Online payment details will be updated shortly.
- Step 7 (Proceed with payment of counselling fee): Upon payment of the registration fee and SRMJEEE counselling fee, a Provisional allotment letter and fee receipt will be issued. Failure to pay the counselling fee within the stipulated time will lead to the cancellation of the allotment.
- Step 8 (Payment of balance tuition fee and online enrolment): The candidates need to pay the balance tuition fee before the mentioned date and proceed with online enrollment.
SRMJEEE 2024 Counselling Admission Form
The candidates whose names appear in the All India Rank (AIR) will have to wait for the release of the online admission form by SRM University. The candidates will have to fill out the application form to make them available for the admission procedure. Here they have to enter the following details:
- The candidates will have to opt for the engineering courses as well as the campuses of SRM University on the online Application form.
- The application form should be submitted online along with the scanned copy of the class 12th mark sheet.
- The candidates need to enter their personal details in the application form like their name, roll number of the SRMJEEE 2024 exam, phone number, email ID, category, name of their parents and any other personal details asked by them.
- Here the candidates need to fill in their educational details such as the marks in the subjects they opted for in class 10th and class 12th.
- They should be very specific and clear while filling in this education-related information.

How to Check SRMJEEE 2024 Result?
SRMJEEE 2024 Results will be announced online through the official website i.e. srmist.edu.in.
- To check their result, candidates must visit the official website and click on the link for B.Tech admissions.
- Login using your registered email and password through the ‘Existing User’ login.
- Click on the submit button after entering the details.
- The scorecard will be downloaded and then the candidates can take a printout of the result.
- Candidates are requested to keep their scorecard printed out safely till the time of admission procedure since it will be required at the time of admission.

SRMJEEE 2024 Normalisation of Scores
SRMJEEE 2024 Normalization is a process for ensuring that students are neither advantaged nor disadvantaged by the difficulty of exams that they do for the Boards. When an exam is conducted in multiple slots, we know there can be variations in the difficulty level of the exams. To adjust these variations in difficulty level at different slots, normalization is done. Conducting exams in different slots means there will be a variation in the difficulty level of the exams. To resolve this issue, scores are normalized.
Under normalization, candidates have two types of marks.
- Raw marks: These are the actual marks obtained by the candidate.
- Normalized marks: These are the modified marks offered to a candidate considering the relative difficulty of his slot compared to the difficulty of other slots of his discipline.
- If it is calculated that the slot of a candidate is relatively easy when compared to the other slot of his discipline then his normalized marks will be less than his actual marks.
- But if it is calculated that the slot of the candidate is relatively more difficult than other slots of his discipline then his normalized marks will be more than his actual marks.
Normalisation Formula
- One of the factors used in calculating the normalization by its formula is the percentile score
- The percentile score of a candidate in a board or SRMJEEE will tell us what percentage of candidates have scored below that candidate in that Board or SRMJEEE.
- A Percentile score is a value below which a certain per cent of observations falls.
- For example, the 30th percentile is the value (or score) below which 30 per cent of the observations will be found.
SRMJEEE 2024 Merit List
SRMJEEE 2024 Merit List will be announced online right after the announcement of the results of the candidates who have appeared for the exam.
- Only those applicants who have made it to the merit list will be called in for SRMJEEE 2024 Counselling.
- Applicants who are not eligible will be disqualified from participating in the counselling session.
- The entrance examination of SRMJEEE 2024 has to be successfully qualified by the applicants to be eligible for counselling and seat allotment.
- A merit list will be generated on the basis of the marks scored by the candidate in SRMJEEE 2024.
