Has NEET Question Paper Pattern Changed?

The paper pattern has been revised. NBE introduced a sectional time limit to complete 800 marks test, but the duration remains the same which is 3 hours 30 minutes. Each section will have 40 minutes to complete 42 questions. As per the marking scheme, 4 marks are awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

Ans. In NEET PG exam, questions are asked in MCQ format. Recently, it has been observed that more Clinical questions are asked focusing on ENT, pediatrics, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, General Medicine including Dermatology & Venereology & Psychiatry, and pediatrics. With this, one-liners and direct questions are also seen in NEET PG question papers.

Ques. Is NEET PG easy to crack?

Ans. NEET PG is challenging. But if you sincerely cover the entire syllabus, make notes, take mock tests and practice previous years’ question papers, it would be easy for you to qualify the exam with a good score. Also, practice images and partographs as questions are also asked based on diagrams and theory.

Ques. How many questions should I attempt in NEET PG 2024 exam to score decent marks?

Ans. If you attempt 170 to 180 questions in NEET PG 2024 exam, you can score 700+ marks easily. You can leave questions that are completely unknown to avoid negative marking.
