  2. After you’ve filled in your personal details, academic information, and paid the application fee, you'll be prompted to choose your exam city.
  3. Remember, exam centers are assigned by the NBE on a first-come, first-served basis, so try to complete your application early.

What are the Required Documents?

You need to bring specific documents to the NEET PG exam centers. Without these, you won't be allowed to take the exam:

  1. Valid ID Proof: Bring a currently valid government-issued ID for verification at the exam center.
  2. Admit Card: This is essential for entry and includes important details like your name, roll number, exam date, and center.
  3. Photocopy of SMC/MCI Registration Certificate (Permanent/Provisional): Carry a photocopy of your State Medical Council (SMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI) registration certificate to prove your eligibility for the exam.

I didn't get my preferred exam centre, What should I do?

If you don't get your preferred exam center for NEET PG 2024, there are a few steps you can take:

  1. Correction Window: NBE provides a correction window where you can make changes to your application, including the choice of exam center. This window is typically available for a limited time after the initial application period. Keep an eye on the official NEET PG website for the exact dates and make sure to update your preferences during this period.
  2. First Come, First Serve Basis: The exam centers are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. If your preferred center is not available, it may be because you applied late. Ensure that you apply as early as possible in future instances to increase your chances of getting your preferred center.
  3. Check for Updates: Sometimes, NBE may add additional centers or seats closer to the exam date. Regularly check the official website and your registered email for any such updates or announcements.
  4. Travel Arrangements: If you are allocated a center that is not convenient, start planning your travel and accommodation early. This will help you manage the logistics and reduce stress on the exam day.
  5. Contact NBE: If there are serious circumstances or a genuine emergency, you can contact NBE directly. While changes are rarely made after the allocation, they may provide guidance or assistance based on individual cases.
