NBE will not release NEET PG 2024 answer keys and question papers, for some confidential reasons. Candidates can access the unofficial memory-based answer keys, provided by various coaching institutes. The unofficial answer keys are expected to be released by the fourth week of August 2024 and can be used to calculate the probable scores.
NEET PG 2024 results are expected by August 25th. The minimum cut off for the General and reserved categories is set as the 50th and 40th percentile respectively. Candidates claimed the 2024 exam paper to be slightly more difficult than the previous year. The overall difficulty was moderate to difficult. Most of the questions were clinical-based, and the approximate number of good attempts was 170-185.

Steps to Download NEET PG 2024 Answer Keys
The official will not release the answer keys on the official website, to keep the content confidential. Aspirants can download the unofficial keys, as released by the coaching institutes. No separate login is required to download the unofficial answer keys. However, to obtain the same from the official website, students must sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) along with their application.
Steps to Raise Objections Against NEET PG Answer Keys
There is no provision to challenge the answer keys provided by the coaching institutes. In case, it is released by the NBE, candidates can raise objections against the same with a payment of INR 1000. The answer keys from the NBE website, i.e., natboard.edu.in, by entering user ID and password. Students must provide proper justification while challenging the answer keys, and choosing the right response.
Steps to Calculate Scores with NEET PG Answer Keys
Students must understand the exam pattern to calculate the probable scores with the unofficial answer keys. Candidates can also determine if they have achieved the qualifying cut off marks after calculating their scores. NEET 2024 marking scheme has been tabulated below:

NEET PG 2024 Tie-Breaking Policy
In case more than one candidate obtained a similar high score in the exam, the following rules will be implemented for breaking the ties:
- Candidates having a greater number of correct responses in NEET PG paper will be placed in a better merit position at first.
- Secondly, the one having a lesser number of negative responses in NEET PG paper will be placed in a better merit position.
- If the tie persists, the older age candidates will be determined for a merit position.
- Lastly, students with higher aggregate percentages in all MBBS professional examinations will be considered for merit.

NEET PG marks vs rank help students determine their rank following the scores they have obtained in the exam. For the general category, a good and safe score will be 280-295, and 245-260 for reserved categories.

NEET PG 2024 Result
The results are expected by August 25, 2024, at the website, natboard.edu.in. The validity period for the results will be the current academic session. Candidates need to provide their user ID and password to download their respective scorecards. Once released, the results cannot be sent for re-evaluation or re-verification. The merit list will be published based on the All India 50% quota rank.
