ISC Class 12 Political Science Syllabus 2023-24 has been revised by CISCE under the National Education Policy 2020. The updated syllabus is available on the official website cisce.org. Students can also download the syllabus PDF from this article.
ISC Class 12 Political Science Syllabus includes two sections - Section A and Section B. Section A includes chapters related to the Constitution and Government and Organs of the Government while Section B includes chapters related to Indian Democracy. In total, there are 10 chapters in ISC Class 12 Political Science Syllabus including both sections.
ISC Class 12 Political Science subject contains both theory exam and project work. The theory paper carries 80 marks and the project work carries 20 marks. The duration of the theory paper is 3 hours and the duration of the project work is 1 hour.

ISC Class 12 Political Science Practical Syllabus 2023-24
ISC Class 12 Political Science Practicals will be conducted for 20 marks. As a part of the practicals, candidates have to complete one project work that can be chosen from the following options:
- A case study
- Survey study with a questionnaire
- Research-based project with in-depth analysis
- Local/ national/ global political issue
- Book review/ film review/ documentaries/ posters/ newspapers/ advertisements/ cartoons and art
