The CMAT syllabus will be available for download on their official website, cmat.nta.nic.in. The syllabus consists of 5 major segments namely: Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Language Comprehension, General Knowledge and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

CMAT and XAT Syllabus Comparison

The differences between CMAT and XAT across various parameters have been discussed below for your reference,

The CMAT Syllabus consists of 5 major sections where questions are placed, the exam pattern and the syllabus for CMAT have been tabulated below for your reference with an infographic image,

Note: Besides the 180 minutes allotted to each candidate, there is an extra 20 minutes allotted to candidates from the PWD sections for CMAT 2024.

Which topics Do I Need To Prepare for the CMAT Other Than Those In The Banking Exam Syllabus?

For the CMAT and banking exams, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Verbal Ability sections and General Knowledge are common sections. While the recently added Innovation and Entrepreneurship are not included in the banking entrance exam syllabus.

Do I need to prepare separately for NMAT, CMAT, CAT and SNAP?

Usually, the CAT covers a vast range of syllabi that simultaneously help candidates prepare for other management exams such as NMAT, CMAT and SNAP. So, if you are preparing for the CAT, it is highly likely that you will automatically get prepared for the CMAT and other management exams.

Does the Mathematics Syllabus for Classes 11 and 12 Come For The CMAT Syllabus?

The CMAT exam's Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation portion might benefit greatly from the mathematics taught in the 11th and 12th grades. Calculus, Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry are among the subjects covered in these grades, and they serve as the foundation for many of the quantitative exam problems. It will be easier and more accurate for you to answer the quantitative questions if you have a firm understanding of these mathematical ideas.

Ques. What is the HP CMAT Syllabus?

Ans. The Himachal Pradesh CMAT exam is conducted by the Himachal Pradesh University, for candidates aspiring to pursue management courses. The eligibility criteria include candidates having cleared their 3-year bachelor's degree with an aggregate score of 50% and above. There is a 5% relaxation for candidates from SC/ST/OBC-NCL and PwD categories.
