Is CMAT 2024 Exam City Intimation Slip Out?
CMAT 2023 Exam City Intimation Slip will be released on Last week of April 2024. Registered candidates can download the examination city intimation slip at cmat.nta.nic.in using their application number and date of birth. The direct link to download the advance city intimation slip of CMAT 2023 will also be available here.
The CMAT 2025 Exam City Intimation Slip is expected to be released around the 1st week of May 2025. This slip consists of a candidate’s exam center details. You can check the official CMAT website – cmat.nta.nic.in for the release of the slip.

CMAT examination is scheduled to take place at over 200 exam centers situated across 110 prominent test cities nationwide. The National Testing Agency (NTA) strives to assign the examination center based on the four city preferences selected by candidates during CMAT Registration. Nonetheless, in situations involving logistical constraints, an alternative test center might be designated.

How to Choose CMAT Exam Centers?
Candidates must ensure that they choose the exam city and center carefully as per their convenience as no changes will be permitted after the final submission of the application. Candidates can follow the steps given below during the application process to select the preferred exam centers:
- Visit the official website of CMAT.
- While filling CMAT Application Form, choose up to four cities of your choice in the order of preference.
- Pay the requisite fee to complete the registration.
- No change will be possible in the selected city after the payment of the fee.
No geographical restriction is imposed on the candidates for CMAT test center selection.

How to Download CMAT Advance City Intimation Slip?
To download CMAT Exam City Intimation Slip online from the official website, candidates need to follow some simple steps:
- Visit the official NTA website of CMAT - cmat.nta.nic.in
- Click on the ‘Advance City Intimation Slip for CMAT link under the ‘Candidate Activity’ section.

How to Check CMAT Exam Center?
Candidates must know that all the details regarding the allotted exam center like exam center location, name, exam time, etc. will be mentioned on their CMAT Admit Card. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to check exam centers:
- Visit the official website i.e., cmat.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the "Download Admit Card" tab.
- Enter your CMAT Application Number and Date of Birth.
- Click on the ‘Download CMAT Admit Card’ link.
- Admit Card will be visible on your screen. Make sure to check all the details regarding exam center carefully.

CMAT Exam Center Guidelines
Candidates appearing for CMAT should follow the given set of instructions-
- Candidates must report to the CMAT test center at least 1 hour before the test time.
- Along with CMAT Admit Card, carry an original valid Photo ID proof.
- The candidate will be given a sheet of paper for the calculation work. On completion of the test, they must return the sheets to the invigilator.
- Any personal items such as wristwatches, mobile, and calculators are not allowed inside the exam hall.
- Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the scheduled end time.

- Visually Impaired or Cerebral Palsy candidates will be allowed the services of a scribe/ reader and given 1 hour extra to complete the exam.

Ques. What are the acceptable testing devices that I can bring to the exam center?
Ans. Given below is the testing assistance that candidates may bring to the exam centers on the prior request:

Ques. At what time should I reach for the exam?
Ans. Candidates are required to be at the exam center 1-2 hours prior to the examination for all security procedures. Since the test begins at 9.00 am, candidates must reach the test center no later than 8:00-7:00 AM.
Ques. I am a PWD candidate with low vision/ blindness/ cerebral palsy. What special accommodation will I be getting at CMAT Exam Center?
Ans. Cerebral Palsy and Visually Impaired candidates are allowed to bring a Reader/ Scribe as per the scribe form mentioned on the CMAT website. NTA can also provide a scribe facility if the candidate requests the same.
Candidates will be given an opportunity to interact with the scribe provided before the day of the examination. After meeting with the identified scribe, the candidate will be required to submit an undertaking. Such candidates will also be provided with a time extension of 1 hour for the Computer Based Test.
Ques. What are the documents that are required to be carried to CMAT test center on the exam day?
Ans. Candidates appearing for CMAT need to bring any of the following identification documents on the test day:
- Attested Copy of CMAT Application Form
- Admit Card with the recent passport-size photograph pasted on it.
- At least 1 valid original (not photocopied/scanned copy) photo identification.
- The name on your photo ID must match your name as entered in the CMAT application. Acceptable forms of photo identification types are limited to Driver's license, UID card, Passport, Voter ID, PAN Card, or a notarized Affidavit (in English) with Signature, Date of Birth, Photo, and Residential Address.
- Photocopies of the original documents will not be accepted. Candidates will not be permitted to take the test if photo identification is not presented.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are required to bring their valid caste certificate in Original and an attested photocopy.
- Physically Disabled candidates are required to bring a valid Disability certificate in Original and an attested photocopy. Attestation of the document can be done by the institute’s head also.
Ques. Should the name on CMAT Admit Card match the name appearing on the identification documents?
Ans. Yes. Your name needs to be exactly identical to the name on your ID proof for candidates appearing for CMAT.
Note: If the name has been changed due to events such as marriage, you must show the relevant documents such as Legal Name Change Document, Divorce Decree, and Marriage Certificate, and submit its photocopy at the time of the examination and interview and at the time of joining a Programme at Institutes.
Ques. What are the permitted materials that I can bring with me to CMAT test center?
Ans. None. You will not be permitted to bring any personal items such as cell phones, calculators, or wristwatches to the CMAT test center.
Ques. Will I get any breaks during the conduct of the test?
Ans. No, there will not be given any break during the test.
Ques. If I complete my exam before 3 hours, can I leave early from the test center?
Ans. No. Whether you have completed the exam on time or not, you will not be allowed to leave the examination hall. You are allowed to leave the exam hall only after the scheduled time.
Ques. Will I be provided any sheet of paper for rough work and calculations during CMAT exam?
Ans. At the CMAT exam center, each candidate will be provided with a scratch paper for calculation work. Rough work cannot be done on any other paper/sheet, as nothing will be allowed inside the center. On completion of the test, candidates will have to hand back all the scratch papers to the Invigilator.
