Admission:

I took admission in this course after qualifying my entrance exam . To get admission in this course, students should qualify their B. Pharm with minimum 60 percent of marks from a recognised university. Students from M. Sc (Biological sciences) are also eligible to get admission in this course. Final selection for admission was based on Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test followed by JEE which was organized and conducted by the institute.

Remarks:

Our institute was one of the best institute in the city. The location of the institute was very good. The institute has excellent faculties with highly qualified and supporting staff. The institute has a well equipped library with fully furnished reading room. Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a 4-semester course after which we can opt for Ph.D. Since, there are only 16 seats in this course, each student selected has to perform his/her best in the exams to get a suitable grade and reach the next semester. The syllabus is laid out well and we get a detailed knowledge of the important subjects related to our field.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

Since, It is a medical college, the fee structure is not very feasible. When compared to other medical colleges, the fees is still low and affordable. For my course, the fees is 1.42 Lakh in total. Rest depends on the criteria on which you have taken the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The M.Sc Programmes at Kuk interfaces science, technology, and engineering. The courses are designed not only to keep up the scientific temper but also to channelize students towards breakthroughs in scientific progress and push their intellectual capacity to new frontiers of science. The School of Basic Sciences is not a traditional department and floats various courses in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, BioSciences, Nano Sciences, and Novel Material Research to maintain the multidisciplinary approach towards curricula and research. The syllabus is an exhaustive study of the core concepts along with seminars and project/thesis through which a student may develop his/her theoretical, practical and experimental understanding of the topics.

Remarks:

Talking about the good remark, the university has explored itself completed at the state level and reflects every culture of the state. Apart from this, I will not call it a bad remark but it somewhere lacks in the western style and culture which is considered as a smart gesture of any individual. But, day by day university is acquiring that also.

Exam Structure:

Exam structure in Jntuk is very tough just to make awareness of all round talent even in their studies. Of course all the students can attempt their exams with all full confidence. 6 subjects in a semester. Options for choice in examination makes students to score better and get good percentages. Score is very important in our daily lives as you are aware of that. Without score we can't even got top listed to attempt the written test of a software company campus recruitment.

Campus Life:

Campus life is very different. No restrictions to be seated in classrooms for knowledge. Most of the time students sit under the trees surfing for topics etc. So no restrictions for classrooms sticking. Debates will be held periodically with the students according to their roll numbers all should be participated. Course Curriculum Overview:

The structure of the course is as per the Mumbai University as the syllabus is provided by them. However, the extra resources that a college should provide was lacking here. The proper guidance for future prospects was not given very well. As far as M.Sc is concerned, the field is only research oriented so one has to be constantly updated and the college should equally contribute to it. But that contribution is a little lacking here.

College Events:

The college events are really good. Each department has their own festival and also there is an overall college fest. The level of college fests is quite good, it is very entertaining and the number of students coming in for the fests is also high. This college is well-known for its status as they have Bollywood celebrities coming every here during festivals.

Campus Life:

when it came to gender ratio the boys were only slightly higher as compared to boys. In terms of diversity it was pretty diverse since our college was located in the northeastern area of India. When it came to extracurricular activities there was the gym for boys and girls and for sports activities facilities like basketball court , table tennis court , badminton court and volleyball court was available. When it came to tolerance there was no fighting or racism when it came to gender, race or religion, only occasional quarrel over social differences between local and non local students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

my course in particular consisted of 5 years which was bsc and msc combined so i would directly graduate with a masters degree. we had different subjects as per year with varying amounts of syllabus covering various topics included in the biotechnology course as per advised by the government, it included both theory and practical for most of the subjects, with the final 5th year including a dissertation which was unfortunately only theoretical with no inclusion of practicals due to negligence by the in charged faculty.

Ques. How can one clear the JNU entrance for MSc biotechnology?

● Top Answer By Yash Mishra on 10 Nov 21

Ans. Here are some of the tips from my friends at JNU that can help you score well in the entrance for M.Sc Biotechnology.  Clear your basics on core subjects like Biochemistry (Enzyme Kinetics, Bio-Energetics), Genetics, Cell-biology.  Practice probability-related questions. These are quite scoring and there are a good number of questions asked from these topics.  Ecology and Evolution are the other areas that you should stress. If your undergraduate study included immunology developmental biology then you should revise those topics well.  Also, practice from previous year’s question papers. Also, try to cover the last 5 years of GATE life science papers.  Try to do maximum number of questions in both sections of the examination.  There are very few seats available, so prepare sincerely.Read more

● Top Answer By Deepshika Singh Rathod on 28 Oct 21

Ans. CSJM University Kanpur conducts a separate entrance examination for M.Sc Biotechnology. The admissions are based on the merit list prepared based on the examination.  As for placements, there are little to no placement opportunities for Biotechnology in India. It is a research-based subject. So, most job opportunities are in the R&D sector. But India doesn’t spend much on the R&D budget. That’s why there are not many Biotechnology companies.
